I already have an idea for an "Official" 20th Anniversary logo (started back in 2012), but it's not going to be a Google Doodle.

A reason the more to see if it is possible to port this game with the level editor to iPad/Phone. (cq: Android)

here is a link to a blog where Chris describes how to install Mystonline on mac.

It works wonderful even on the newest Mac OS X version.
it is easy to install, just try it.
Interesting observations above... I was blown away by Dear Esther, and return to the island on occasion when I'm feeling mellow and just want to soak in its ambiance. The developers of Esther built it on the premise that it would be an experiment - basically, a quandary consisting of a "game" that was totally devoid of any of the usual gameplay elements. I think it's that difference, plus the breathtaking execution of the concept, that keeps me coming back.

Similarly, I occasionally return the Cavern and Ages for the same reason - just for the experience of being there, even though I've completed all the tasks many times over, and have little desire to do them again. The Myst saga attracted the incurably curious, and I'd definitely be drawn to any new Ages that provided that same "What's around the corner?" premise.
Gotta be honest; I couldn't make head or tail of the instructions to use Riveal.... I'm not very technical.

I actually found an easier method.. I used the info on the Riveal page to FIND the audio files in the game folder, then just used an audio-editor-- a freeware program called Audacity-- to convert them to mp3's.

I did some clickin' around, and found the music for the Manhole and Cosmic Osmo myself --- it seems to be in some kind of 'raw data' format. But no biggie, with a few weird steps, audacity could convert it to MP3's as well, so it's all good!

So if anybody's in the same boat-- wants the music, can't get their head around Riveal... just post a reply here & I'll get into more detail.

I used my phone to get the add free version, and then when installing the game on my tablet i can't unlock.
Google play says I already own that object, and but no unlock happens.

Any suggestions ?
