Hmm. No, I don't think it'll affect me much. The only sizeable piece of work I've produced in this fandom is Making the Best, and that by definition happens after the end of EoA. If that gets pushed forty years into the future it might strain it a little (given that I've assumed that the narrator also took Yeesha's Journey, an assumption I think backed up by the way the game is presented) but I think I'll leave it as is.

I've tried to set up http://guildofwriters.org to exist within the Uru universe and in the context of all D'ni lore, but allow it to be fairly stand-alone at the same time. I can also easily see GoW being extended by participants into IC-role-playing while playing Uru Live.

As for Aveara ( http://aveara.com ), that's sort of just chalked up to a learning experience by now. When GoW soon launches, it will hopefully capture the imaginations of a lot of aspiring "Writers" and be a fun community experience supplementary to Uru Live.

Plus Eder Delin has a statue. I had heard about the weapon theory but it was just a theory, along with the "its an age cleaner" thing.

It doesnt bear any resemblance to the plint in Kemo it looks more like a book if you notice the top of the bit her left hand is point down too.

It could well be a weapon, I just don't see the glyph relating to her destorying it.

And all this time I thought it was depicting Yeesha going shopping in D'ni!

Shomat was crowned in 300 DE he died 255 years later (source Journal of Shomat)

Eder Kemo was written in the 8100's DE (source DRC Ages)

Eder Kemo is not one of Shomats Ages as has been mentioned may times before.

As for why Nicks book is there its simply to teach a lesson, would a lesson about how sometimes beautiful things are built on the bones of the dead be more prominante in an actual garden age or on a D'ni roof top?

Its like taking people to a battle field to teach them about war ^_^.

Kemo may not be THE (first) Garden Age of Shomat but it is A Garden Age of Shomat.
"So Shomat ordered for his brothers to be brought into his palace and he informed them of his dilemma. Shomat asked his brothers if they would kill those who lived on his Garden Ages and he bribed with talk of power and authority. And so they agreed even though they hated their brother."
from the journal Shomat Story translated by Nick, found on the ledge above the tunnel to the Gira linking book in Kemo. Why would this book be there if Kemo was not one of Shomat's Ages?
not sure, I was in the belief it was Yeesha, but there are inconsisitences in art styles that makes me wonder if it wasnt the Bahro.

Artwork featured in Yeesha's Journals and the Note found in Kadish's chamber in Ahnonay show a pretty advanced skill in drawing drawn by Yeesha, however the glyphs are really quite primative.

Hmm mind you the covers of yeeshas journals are primative in their symbology.

So, are we all pretty sure it was either Yeesha or the Bahro who drew them though?

The bahro- to depict Yeesha's journey and the ages of said.

Yeesha-to help us come to a decision about the journey and understand her better, and to document her journey.

If we are to accept Kemo is not Shomat's age (the noted timeline inconsistecies), then I believe the middle guy in the glyph to the right side of the Bahro cave door ("EK 7" scroll down to the extracted versions), that resembles a functional floating statue (switchblade arms in position "up") cannot be Shomat.

I also do not think Yeesha is shown destroying something in the portrait of her. I think it shows her as the Grower. The staff with the sun symbol on top might allude to her bringing light (also surface-iconographically as being a "good sheperd"), the eye-on-book shows that, with her, the relation between Yahvo/Soul/Enlightenment (eye) and the Art (book) is closely connected, more "as one", as compared to the regular D'ni Writers, of which the basic value is "Yahvo is the Maker, he is higher than the Art", which is IMO symbolized by eye-over-book, the symbol the maintainers chose for themselves, because the abiding of that rule was - among other things - theirs to "watch over".

I also think the floating statue was a contraption for something and a depiction for somebody at the same time. I'd go for the watcher for now.

Pity is we still do not know for sure who drew these glyphs, I'd love to have the story clear that up in the future.

A replica of the weapon? Must be seeming Kemo isn't Shomats garden age.

While in Ubiru beta test, I was told by a Cyantist that the floating statue was the weapon described in the history of King Shomat used to drive off (or kill) indigenous life forms (fauna native to the Age prior to its use as a Garden Age) and anyone who disagreed with Shomat (his brothers). Near the Bahro Door in Kemo you can see a wall glyph depicting King Shomat's power over his brothers represented by the weapon overshadowing them.
The weapon's abilitites were disabled by Yeesha who is seen smashing the controls in the wall glyph directly behind the weapon/statue. The smashed controls can be found near the Statue, the black pedastal with Yeesha's symbol on all sides. The weapon was also used to keep control over the wall bugs, called Keanulint by some , by zapping them off the walls. Maybe one day we would have this ability restored, time will tell.
