Shorah folks! As Mysterium draws near, I realize that we never posted the url for the stream here! You can find it on our website at: http://mysterium.zibland.com/?page_id=67 (or at http://livestream.com/mysterium2011 )

I can't guarantee that anything will be shown on the stream before Friday other than testing.

PS: Don't like the ads? You can turn them off if you're using Firefox and AdBlock Plus (Note: AdBlock Plus Beta in Chrome currently does not block the ads due to a Chrome restriction). When using AdBlock Plus, subscribe to EasyList to block the ads. If you are already using AdBlock Plus and the video is not loading, open your AdBlock Plus preferences and force an update to your filters.

So for anybody who hasn't submitted a Paper Person yet, get on it I'm setting a deadline for July 29th so I have time to print everybody! Please send your pictures to tanshin@mysterium.zibland.com if you haven't already. If you do not send them in on time, you may not be printed, and you may be turned into a potato.

The Room and Ride Share board has opened! Use this handy tool to work out roommates as well as ride sharing to/from the airport, to locations, etc. Check out the forum and all it’s amazing potato goodness here.

Our logo has been chosen! Congratulations to Paul Veloz for creating it. It will be displayed prominently on the back of our t-shirts, which are now available for pre-order as well. You can check out the logo and t-shirt pricing here.

And, the most exciting: The dA Myst Fanclub has graciously offered to sponsor a weekend registration and a day pass and we will be giving these out in contest form. All you have to do is reply to this announcement post in the next 48 hours to enter.

To the mods: Ok, I've made that third post useful, so can you add something to the first post pointing to it as suggested above? Also, can we change the post title to something like "Mysterium 2011 News and Updates"? Much appreciated

Snagette with stickies - The original post in the thread can't be edited after the thread has been stickied. If taniith wants to add updated info, it'll need to be either as a new post to the end of the thread or by editing the third post (taniith's first reply to the thread). If you go for editing the third post, when the time comes, I (or another mod) can edit the top post to add "Check the third post in the thread for latest info" or something like that.

Mysterium will be held in Boston, MA, August 4-7.

Registration
Registration is open until July 11 through the Mysterium Shop.

Hotel
Information on the Mysterium hotel can be found here. Please book your rooms by July 29. Please see this post if you want to book nights other than the 5th and 6th.

Shirts
Mysterium shirts can now be purchased for $18 each from the Mysterium Shop. If you are not planning to attend Mysterium but would still like a shirt, you can do that too and we will ship it to you after the con. Shirts can be ordered until July 8 to give us time to get them screen printed, so make sure to get your orders in by then!

Events/Presentations
We are currently looking for people interesting in running presentations. See here for more details. July 3 is the deadline for presentation submissions.
