I tried riven on my galaxy s 19000 phone, which is 2 years old, and it rad smoothly!!! completed Riven again too.
Feels better on the phone, for some reason it felt more immersive.

Installed easier than i thought, now have myst on my android.

I've managed to build scummvm at last.

I've installed these plugins and have followed all the steps, but when I navigate to the folder from scummVM on the device, and select the folder it tells me it cannot find the game. I am using Myst Masterpiece and have transfered all required files. Not sure what the issue is to be honest. I made sure to use the more recent plugins as quoted rather than the ones from the original post.

And with riven, are the steps the same?

EDIT: Just redid all the steps, including reinstalling all plugins and game files, both Riven and Myst give me the Game data not found error on my Droid 2, and my Xoom cannot find the games in the specified directory when I attempt to add them.

Can Riven be done in the same way? I have a copy of Riven via Steam on my computer and it runs just fine, but I would like to take Riven everywhere!

Thanks for the workaround, works perfectly like this! A little trouble is well worth it . This scumm engine is quite perfect, also installed beneath a steel sky and day of the tentacle, and now have loads and loads of fun while taking the train to visit family everywhere .

The problem is that scummvm switched the buildbot to build test releases and they don't contain support for Myst or Riven.

It look likes that it no longer work. Myst support not compiled.

Wh00t it actually works! That's so awesome!

However, I have one problem: when I save a game and try to load it gives me a debugging function, where typing exit should get me to the game, but it doesn't give me a keyboard to type with... Does anybody know how to fix that?

Thanks for posting that, Eleri! Now I have a new reason to play with my Android tablet. I've got both Myst and Riven installed, and so far they work great. I had fears about Myst because it started with a black screen but with sound, but once the book landed it did fine.

Oh, I didn't realize that Myst and Riven were already semi-working in ScummVM in general, let alone on the mobile ports. Thanks for the heads up. This might be the least buggy way to play Riven on PC right now, from what I've seen so far.
