No, RAWA's update cites the Donation Meter value as of May 14, so anything since Wednesday won't be included.

Well, I just send some money in on Friday, I highy doubt that was counted towards the most recent increase, hopefully it will help even things out a bit, if others also did some donating.

It's a pleasant surprise to see that CAVCON recovered to 3.0 for April, but still a bit of a concern that the Donation Meter is only 2.2 half way through May.

It isn't currently possible for new players to create accounts. This is a serious problem, but it will hopefully be resolved soon.

This may have a lot more to do with the problem Chogon noted on April 23rd, than the gradual ongoing decline in new players showing up.

It isn't currently possible for new players to create accounts. This is a serious problem, but it will hopefully be resolved soon.

Let's not forget the general so called financial "crisis". Life gets more expensive everywhere by the day, work gets less paid, and you just have to choose your priorities a little more strictly than you thought.

I wouldn't worry much, at least not just yet, Moula had been fully functional for two years under Cavcon 2 when everyone thought it was 4. So nothing has changed much, I think..

I don't deny the "donor fatigue" angle, but I'm also sure that big factor here is that we haven't actually had any kind of update on MOULa in almost a year now. No-one's fault, that's just the way things worked out. But I'm also sure that getting fan content into MOULa will be a bigger boost for it (and for donations) that any amount of fan fixes to the client code. That's not to devalue those code fixes, but I expect that for a lot of people who don't follow the technical angles they'll probably seem a bit like fiddling around the edges. New content is much more of an "in your face" update that everyone can see.

We've been down this road before... well, really the same road for a very long time. It's had its twists and turns and it often seems to be mostly uphill and yes, we've lost people to fatigue along the way, but there are also a lot of diehards who refuse to give up until we've reached the goal - player created content on MOULa. Hang in there, Matt. It's creators like you and the coders that give us all hope and a reason to keep paying for the road.

Please keep an eye out for some good news about fan content. Others' and your work is worthwhile and appreciated, matthornb. People hate it when I'm a tease and say things without saying things ("Just wait until you have something to say, then say it!"), but here we are.
