This is the entry for D'ni Location Contest, the so-called Vothol Gallery. Not much known about the place. Located on one of the private islands, it was the property of the Guild of Writers, obviously. At the time of the Fall it was a showcase of ages for everyone to visit, while the original purpose of this place is yet to be discovered :)

Get the age here.

All the DLC ages have been impressive, and by the screenies I'm guessing this one will be too. Darn me being in France! If I could get back to my computer I could check this out. :(

How was the Vothol Gallery discovered? How do you know it's a gallery? Did you write the linking book to it or did you find it? Etc. :)

No, I didn't write the linking book. I discovered the place during one of my trips to D'ni (the one when I managed to find a boat). Later, I found the linking book to Vothol in one of the ages.
I think it's a gallery because when I examined the place for the first time I found a number of pieces of "paintings" depicting vistas from various ages, as well as what I called the "age scopes" - metal spheres with panoramic view of ages - most of them severely damaged or non-functional. Had to clean up the garbage, so it wasn't so obvious perhaps.
I think it was public because where I found the linking book there were several books that looked similar, as though they were ready to be distributed to libraries.

Thanks, Rusty... This age is really stunningly amazing and beautiful... :P

What I was looking for in the first place when I linked in and then running
around in awe, was of course a descriptive journal... I expected it to be
behind the rubble when I didn't find it anywhere else, but now I'm glad to
see your explanations here at least... Sounds fascinating and I want to
know more... Thanks again however... :D

How do I install? There's no Python folder. ULM doesn't show it in my personal ages.

Yali, you'll need to take that enquiry elsewhere, as Forum Policy doesn't presently allow discussion of certain aspects of that process here. However, I'm sure someone, will volunteer the advice you need.

The Vothol gallery looks incredible!

Great work, Rusty!

I think with fan-made content like this being made, Uru has a very bright future.

I haven't been a very brisk explorer lately and found my way to Vothol Gallery only now. Gorgeous place, Rusty, congratulations. Aren't there any secret passages for further explorations?

Thanks, Norfren. In the present version, no. I planned to make the room at the upper circle, but needed a bit of help with python, got none, so eventually I switched to other projects. I would like to finish it though when I have more free time :)
