I know that Cyan is very close to finishing iRiven, so it is way too late to talk about this. But I just wondered…

Wouldn't it be awesome if there was an audio commentary on iRiven? There could be a speaker icon that you could turn on in the settings that would appear whenever there is a commentary segment on a particular screen. Then you hit the button and Rand and RAWA come on and talk about Riven.

What'd be way cool is if Cyan could even get some other people in on the commentary. You know… Robyn, Richard Vander Wende, Josh Staub, etc. But I know that that might be a bit harder.

So, as you've probably already seen in the poll… What is your preference, assuming Cyan did a commentary. Should they delay iRiven for the sole purpose of adding a commentary? Or should they release iRiven and then add an update with a commentary? Or is this just a stupid idea in the first place and Cyan shouldn't do a commentary for iRiven?

iRiven doesn't need a commentary in my opinion. However, it would be cool if the "From Myst to Riven" book was to be republished. All the interesting comments on Riven are in that book, and I'd rather read that than listen to audio commentary.

Yeah, while it's always nice to get information from those guys in some form, I don't see any need to have it in-game.

I was thinking along the lines of Monkey Island 2 Special Edition. Which I haven't played. But it sounded like a really neat idea.

I just was looking through my copy of From Myst to Riven, and if you can find it, it's a stunningly lovely book. Informative, and with high res Riven graphics that look amazing.
