I played myst v end of ages (which i have to say i didn't enjoy playing it) and noticed thet in the great shaft, even in the lowest area there is no connection to the caves leading to the main cavern. In myst v,the great shaft is just a big place leading to no where. Is there something i didn't noticed?

Thanks,The stranger.

On the lowest level of the great shaft there are 2 doors that are blocked off. We can assume that they continue the passage onto D'ni

Yes, Tweek, that's something I've always wanted. That would be awesome! Very Happy
It would be bad if you fell in the shaft by accident and panic linked... then you would have to start from the Cleft again! Laughing

I've never seen Tweek quite so worked up about something. Smile

Cyan should, maybe even would, do this immediately. But there seems to be undescribed and unconfirmed rights issues with at least EoA. Let's all hope theres an end to the issues by next year when Ubisoft's publishing rights are rumored to expire.

I believe I got it mine here: http://www.art-pipes.com/realriven/uru_tweaks/

And besides Marein, it's like a three mile fall, of course it's long. Wink

Unless the D'ni implemented Nexus pedestals along the way? IIRC there were nonfunctional pedestals in EOA - at least in the rest stop in the great shaft. I don't see why they couldn't have installed more pedestals at various points of interest along the way?

Yeah, looking at Aitrus' map, there are a lot of nodes to place some Nexus pedestals in Smile
