Post Posted: Mon Feb 05, 2007 8:34 am — Post subject: Can't get moon lights back in Kadish temple!

In trying to get back to an earlier area in my Kadish, I got to the temple, but I cannot get the "hidden" (glowing blue) lights to come up. If I turn the regular lights off everything is just black. I've tried everything I can think of, including resetting the age and starting from the beginning again, but no luck. Help?

I'm not sure what's happening - could you try posting some screenshots?

If you're not sure how to do that, use the following steps:

1. Set up the image on the screen the way you want it.
2. Hit the button on your keyboard marked "Prnt Scrn".
3. Open up any image processing software. MS Paint will do.
4. Hit Ctrl+V or go to Edit>Paste to copy the screenshot into the program.
5. Save the picture as a jpeg.

Once you've done that, you can either find an online image hosting service (like PhotoBucket), or if you don't want to do that you can PM me and I'll send you my email address to send me the pictures.

Owehn - thanks for the response.

Here's a screenshot:

It looks like other people are encountering this too: http://www.mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6482. I guess I'll file a bug report: just wanted to check and make sure there wasn't some switch or lever or something I was forgetting about...

Did you let the device charge? AFAIR you have to wait about two minus to press the button a second time.

Yes - like most glow-in-the-dark lights you have to wait for it to soak up some light first. I usually find that a couple times around the pyramid will be enough time.

Curious... if it needs to charge I'd never come across that before.

I'll give it a shot!

It needed charge time even in the old offline Uru, perhaps you just walked around and lloked around while it was charging not knowing of the charge time, so when you pushed te button a second time it just worked.

I had the problem of the shapes not glowing too and found that even though the shapes did not appear that I could walk the route in the dark and the elevator would still go down.

Yes. As with the moon room puzzle (lights by stairs), the pattern is for show, not for activation.

That's because it's not really a problem - building in a timer was always part of the puzzle, I think. Smile

I'm having trouble understanding what you're all meaning. Usually, the change over time is instantaneous. But what you guys appear to be saying is that well, I'm confused as to what you're saying. You're saying either the change over time for you guys is usually 2 minutes, or that you're... supposed to wait 2 minutes before you press the button. In any case, no matter how much I make it try to happen again, I can't get the darkness to reappear.

I don't know why you'd want the darkness to reappear, Ragdrazi, not that it ever does. Off (dark) to White is instantaneous. White to Blue needs about 2 minutes.

Not for me. This is sounding like an unsubmitted bug.
