Well this is disappointing.

Only 16 people are happy MOUL is back??? Thats not possible.

Come on people. Don't let the negative remarks be heard above the positive ones!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...

Believe it or not, not everyone believes in what some might call pointless cluttering of threads due to me-tooism... Rolling Eyes

Have you been reading this forum?

How many threads are about how people are disappointed in UL? How many threads are about complaints about some aspect that people are disatisfied with?

I don't think *one* thread praising MOUL is a "me-tooism" any more than the negative coments in the above mentioned threads. I would hardly call one thread "clutter".

No, I don't think one thread is me-tooism either. But one thread largely consisting of lots of people saying the same thing does strike me that way. If I wanted mass input, I wouldn't ask for it in replies, but in a poll.

And this me-tooism strikes me as exactly what would happen if everyone who liked MO:UL posted here... Which is what you are implying should happen, given that you say that "only 16 people are happy MOUL is back?".

Yes, I would like to give people a chance to say "thank you" to Cyan. What is wrong with that??

It is statistically true that those who are happy say nothing, while those who are not raise their voices, so they are the ones who are heard.

So yes, I would like to give those of us who are happy the chance to say something, because when only negative comments are heard, it is very depressing to those who work so hard to create something. As an artist I know this fact all too well.

So what if it is a "me too-ism"? I see nothing wrong with it, and I don't understand why you do.

What is the use of a poll when we already know that the sides are devided? Those whom are unhappy and those who are happy. No need for a poll when you already know who is speaking louder.

I don't have a problem with me tooism here.

In fact I'll shout a hearty "Me too!" I'm very much looking forward to launch this coming week. Smile

If there was an emoticon for applauding I would place it here. Just know, I am applauding heartily Gametap and most of all, Cyan.

WOW! Rand, Greydragon, RAWA, Tor'i, Gregbert, Chogon, Lbell, Eap, all the rest of Cyan's wonderful staff, you folks are, well...WOW! Thank you!

I hope many of us explorers will get a chance to do the following In Cavern at some point with you present well, in your avvie form at least.

All other MMO forums are exactly the same way. People complain because they're passionate about the game and want it to be better, otherwise they wouldn't post. Then once in a while there's a "OMG STOP ATTACKING <dev>!!!" post, which is usually favorably received.

While it does suck that I'm going to have to start paying for Gametap, I am happy about the release. Razz

OK.. First I would like to say that I am as happy as anyone that Live is just about here.

Second, I would like to point out that the people that frequent this place are enthusiastic about it and have been since Until Uru was released. While there are complaints, I doubt there is anyone that would say that we should once again dump Uru Live and put it back to bed. That is just plain unthinkable.

In essence, I think that we are enjoying a quiet comraderie of happiness. Launch is this coming Thursday. Whatcha wanna bet that there will be full hoods and several city-instances?

Frankly, Kia, this gets my vote for dumb rhetorical question of 2007!! Mr. Green
