I realize there have been some questions regarding the beta account transition process so I wanted to clarify the following items:
1) If you have an active GameTap "paying" account, you do not need to take any actions
2) If you are playing on a free beta code account and have transitioned your account, please note that your account status online will continue to appear as "beta" until the beta codes expire on the 14th. You will see your new "paying" account status thereafter.
3) If you are in the U.S. or Canada and did not receive the email, you can transition your account by signing in and selecting a payment plan via the following URL: https://account.gametap.com/storefront/login/login.do?mcd=CMT01252007000079
4) International transition instructions have not been sent out yet. Because of differences in the billing systems, international accounts can not transition until after the beta codes expire. Once the codes expire on the 14th, international account transition instructions will be sent out. Rest assured, you will be able to transition your account after the 15th if need be, but you will not be able to access your current avatars until your account has been transitioned.

Wat betekent dit voor de internationals en dus voor ons Nederlanders:

In het kort:
Zij die een beta account hebben kunnen vanaf 14 februari hun instructies over het omzetten van het beta account naar een betaald account verwachten.
De beta codes vervallen op 14 februari en pas dan wordt door GameTap met de verzending van de instructies begonnen.
Wil je je spel behouden zal je moeten wachten tot dit bericht. Pas daarna kan je account worden omgezet. Dit gebeurt als je betaling bij Gametap binnen is. Vanaf dat moment wordt je avatar weer geactiveerd.
Met een beetje geluk kan dit allemaal op de 15e geregeld zijn.

Zij die nu geen beta account hebben en dus helemaal nieuw zijn of hun huidige spel niet willen behouden kunnen alvast via hier:
https://account.gametap.com/storefront/myst/login/createAccount.do een account aanmaken en betalen.
Dan kun je vanf de 15e Uru Live spelen. (nogmaals alleen voor hen die nu nog geen account hebben)

Het hoeft niet. Als de mail de 14e er is dan zijn we nog op tijd.
De launch zal voor zover ik gehoord heb donderdagavond Nederlandse tijd zijn.

Het blijft in ieder geval mogelijk om ook na de 15e je progressie in het spel te behouden. Dus mocht het onverhoopt later worden dan raken we gelukkig niks kwijt.

Laatste nieuws over de accounts:

De emails zullen morgen door GameTap verstuurd worden. De verwachting is dat ze tegen de avond in je emailbox liggen.
Op dat moment is het beta account afgelopen en is je account omgezet als "visitor".
Zodra de betaling gedaan is zet GameTap het account weer om naar "Explorer".
De avatars en de spelvorderingen blijven bestaan.
Ook bij de visitorstatus. Dus mocht je om wat voor redenen niet op tijd kunnen betalen, behoud je toch je spel.

Met dit bericht in het vooruitzicht kunnen we donderdag aanwezig zijn bij de launch.
