Yeesha hologram officially appeared at 5:22 MST in the sil_oh_wet Bevin. She linked in, walked around a bit, and stayed for approximately 3 minutes and then vanished. No verbal communication was made. Photos will be forthcoming!

After appearing in holographic form at the link point in the Bevin, she also appeared on top of the fountain. The following explorers were there at the time:

Dreamsphere, Tallon Enx, Dog, Bagheera, Jo'Arine, Tracker, Lobo, Mireena, jimmyleg, Snowflake, Azador, Astria, Zenguy, Ichabod Ol, Tyion, Aaron Alexander and malikwizard and myself. A number of photos were taken.

It seems unlikely that Cyan was originally planning on her showing up this way. If so, it is really wonderful that a group of players can have such a direct impact on the story.

Hi guys, I'll give everyone a slightly more detailed writeup of what happened.

Thanks to the amazing planning of sossiqui and others, a group of 40 or more rotating explorers spent the hours from 11 to 4 cavern time in sil_oh_wet's Bevin, in a sort of non-violent, non-confrontational sit-in to try to get Yeesha's attention. Various activities were tried, such as forming a giant spiral centered on the fountain, performing mass beckoning actions, etcetera. It was all in good fun; I made a few friends and had some good discussions about Yeesha's motives and the purpose of the Journey. Nick White dropped by to say hi. Just before 1:00, several ResEngs linked in to see what was going on, but left shortly thereafter.

Shortly after 1:00 PM cavern time, the agreed-upon end of the meeting, many people left for elsewhere.

At about 1:22, Yeesha's hologram appeared with no warning at the link-in point. Only a few people immediately noticed this. After about 15 seconds she disappeared, and a cloud of white static, roughly shaped like a human body, appeared in its place.

After a minute or so, the static moved forward about twenty feet, then snapped back into its original place. It repeated this two or three times, with delays in between.

During this an explorer linked in. She remained motionless and unresponsive to input for a long time afterwords.

The static disappeared, and reappeared a few minutes later atop the fountain. Yeesha's hologram appeared and disappeared a few times atop the fountain as well. Then both disappeared.

The people in the Bevin ran around looking for it elsewhere, but with no further luck.

I got a log of the second half of this and one ki shot: I'll post these as soon as I can.

What an amazing experience! The Cavern truly is alive.

I forgot, about 15 minutes later the explorer who'd been stuck in the static at the link in point (named Bagheera) reappeared. She claimed to have no memory of what happened.

Well said, Tallonenx. We now know just how true that is. I'm really excited that I was part of this gathering, even if I missed the appearance. We did this. Us. Yeesha's still around, and she's still watching. The Journey isn't at an end yet.

I think we're all astonished. Did any of us seriously believe there would be any kind of contact with Yeesha at all? I certainly didn't. It was just a fun thing to try, I thought.
