I'll be holding a round table discussion this Friday @ 19:00pm GMT (2pm EST) for anyone to attend. It will be held in The Guild Of Technologists Bevin and I would really like at least ONE Cyanist to attend.

We will be discussing where we are going with the storyline and how we can work with Cyan to alter and add to the storyline and how Cyan are going to help us by adding to the storyline.

The meeting will last exactly one hour and I hope to see at least some of you there

I'll be there for at least a half hour before I have to go to work. I hope you've added this to the in-game events calendar, and I sure hope a Cyanist shows up.

Flag it real big in the topic title, if you want a Cyanist to show. Something like, "A Cyan employee attendance requested!"

In the cavern, Cyan doesn't exist, other than as an irrelevant game company that made games based on D'ni lore, so I wouldn't expect someone representing "Cyan" to show up. Nor is discussing how to affect the storyline IC, so any DRC representative that shows up, even a ResEng, is not likely to "understand" what you are talking about.

This sounds like an OOC discussion that should be held someplace OOC, not in the cavern.

IC, I would expect you to have a meeting regarding how you can influence the DRC, for instance. You might be able to get a DRC member to show up to that.


But, I may be wrong.

you know, this thing of yelling CYANIST PAY ATTENTION TO ME in the subject of message threads is probably the worst thing that people can start doing. unless of course your objective is to get them to actually *stop* paying attention. it's only going to create a "boy who cried wolf" scenario, and then we'll have a ton of people whining that cyan didn't respond to their thread BUT I PUT IT IN REALLY BIG LETTERS IN THE SUBJECT.

For Lobo: Players have met with Cyan in the Cavern before. They do come down and discuss things, OOC.

And yes, calling Cyan in the topic title should be used sparingly, but for a subject such as this, where they would like a Cyanist to attend, I think it's okay. The other choice would be to send an PM to your cyanist of choice, but that's running the risk that someone will miss it. <shrug>

In the cavern Cyan very much exists. And there's plenty of room in the cavern for OOC meetings as well as IC.

I would guess that we're trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Why there's no story to Delin, Tsogal, and Negilahn. What these mysterious artifacts and strange forces we're supposedly creating rumors about are.
