I'm afraid I haven't the time to read all the many sites talking about guilds.
So I'm asking here: is there an interest in explaining the spiffy things of Uru using modern science?
This isn't meant as technology - I'm pretty sure the technologists have been hard at work on that puzzle. I mean linking, time travel, fire globes, shifting night skies, water in Pod 25, trinary star systems, and the like. There will be overlap with the tech group, but this'll be more the theory behind it.
It seems like a fun, creative-nonfiction outlet. And I suppose meta-physics is fine, too (not precisely philosophy, so much as an outreach to the potential 'how' of it all...)
Remember, finding out how Kathrine's water-column age worked doesn't ruin the magic; at least, I liked it.
