I would like to express that almost every explorer was familiar with the ResEngs by name, if not by reputation.
We may not have had to call upon you for help, but we knew you were but a pm away if we needed you.
I personally only interacted with some you a few times (always when I needed help) but all your names
were on my buddy list.
You were a very important part of our community, and I want to thank you for being so patient and friendly!

Way back before MOUL, before D'mala. before Until Uru even, Eric Large put up a sort of a chat webpage. The background was the fountain area of a Bevin and the chat worked pretty much like in MOUL, just no avvies standing around. It has not been accessed in like 4 years, but it is still there and it still works. There are several hoods and some of us have begun to gather there. All are welcome. Since the project was interrupted with the advent of UU, it still has some bugs, but those are going to be worked on. See you all there!

Just another reminder how personal and involved Cyan was in the game experience beyond just the development and support. Also another reminder that this personal involvement was what made Myst Online better than just playing to win and playing in a superficial environment. It was lovely but sad in the Greeters Guild in the last 10 minutes with "customer care" announcing the imminent shutdown while many were just dancing away.

A special thanks to Rocky for helping me out as a newbie and to Henry for his always ready helping hand in the game.
