Post Posted: Wed Aug 06, 2008 6:27 pm — Post subject: TrueSpace Fixed my Problems :)

I ended up phoning True Space and they were very interested in my problems.
I was put in contact with their Senior Tech Support.

After several hours on the phone the issue has been solved.
Seems I was not getting all the files on download.

They have reved their download and I am able to work with True Space like a nooby should be able to.
Now to go and read what greypiffle had to say after I flamed True Space.

Oh and if a Forums Moderator reads this please remove the post of True Space being junk.

I still have not resolved the issue of their forums yet. I guess thats not tech supports issue.

Thanks all
Fezz

Incredible, unheard of in my experience, that you could get phone support at all (much less high-level support) for a FREE program.
Very impressive. How DO they do it?

I called there toll free number and could only place a message.

The shocker was they called back in like 10 minutes. I am experiencing more problems with TrueSpace and have gone back to Blender. I think Blender is the best bet for the long haul.

Thats because Microsoft bought it.
They will use it in virtual earth in the same way as google earth uses sketchup.

denDwaler,

Now those links kinda put some appeal into TrueSpace I think.
Importing/Exporting makes it more attractive than Google which charges for that ability.

I wonder how well the Cavern will take to TrueSpace.

For now though I am a Blender Noob.
