TY Chogon for the update! Very Happy

Since ResEngs will be limited (in number) some of those duties may need to be spread out. A complete solution has not been determined yet but will obviously have to be before launch.

wow, mentioning the ResEngs..., never got the change to meet with/listen to them; when you are going to spread those duties out, please consider spreading out on timezones too Very Happy

Other projects:
We do have a number of other projects that are suspended waiting for publisher approval or other outside funding. These range from a large epic multi-console game to smaller single console games with a number inbetween. All of the games are unique, artistic and have different aspects of exploration... and I can't tell you anything about them until they become active

Very interesting! Are these in the same kind of limbo that Latus is, or are they projects that have a good chance of seeing the light of day?

I think we'd all appreciate a daily update. Even if it's just Chogon talking about what he had for breakfast.

...yep. I speak for all of us.

Shorah,

Thanks Chogon. It really helps us keep up our spirits to hear from you all. I am glad to hear that there is some diversification of Cyan's resources and that there are some new and different things in the hopper.

For myself, I guess I will "always" compare any game/adventure I play with URU, and I can't imagine anything like it even coming close. I am sure there are things on a completely different tangent that could be "better", but this "game" and it's community have captured my attention for almost 4 years now, no mean feat.

Anyway, thanks for the update and HAVE FUN!!!

Oh Joey Joey Joey - if we insist on daily that's time Chogon has to take away from the doing and we most definitly want him and Chippy (aka Randy) doing. Cause the more they do now the sooner we'll all be back in the Cavern. Wink

Hmmm......weekly - or even bi-weekly......that sounds like a reasonable request for updates. Yah. Cool Laughing

PS: Many many thank you's Chogon for the post in blue - it is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, we won't get updates on those projects once they become active either... not until they're given the legal thumbs-up for mentioning.

Loose Lips Sink (developer-publisher) Partnerships or something.

But it's good to get a little update how it goes. However, what made me wonder is I noticed tools and age distribution etc weren't mentioned. Are those late-stage after the server is tested to be ok to boot, or even after it's running for a bit? Or is it just that you're prioritizing and just having started you haven't gotten to them too yet nad will before long?

(However, iMyst. He he he. What I REALLY want to see though is modern ports not of Myst, as cool as it is... but RIVEN. And yes I know the sheer mind-boggling data that has to go, of the 5cd vs 1cd difference)
