I'm sure you could find the information you need (and much more) in the Guild of Greeters Library of all the notebooks from Uru - including the ones from the Tokotah rooftop on the D'ni culture.

Well, at about 4, D'ni children start guild school, which lasts 4 years. At the age of 25, they are considered adults, or in the 'Age of Reason'. At 125, they are considered to be seniors, or in the 'Age of Wisdom'. And most D'ni live to be about 365 years old. Hope that helps.

Well, let's look at humans and translate that to D'ni. What's the average age of a human?

So, about 28 years old. That seems young, but let's roll with it. This is hardly scientific, anyhow.

Now, let's say the average lifespan of a human is around 70. This means that the average age is 40% of the lifespan.

Now we take 40% of the D'ni lifespan and we should get an idea of the average D'ni age (assuming D'ni are similar to humans).
It comes out to 146.

Okay, again, this is hardly scientific. We know D'ni women are only able to have a child for a very short period of time. This means that there would likely be more older D'ni than younger. If anyone can give a more scientific answer, that would be great. At least this gives a ballpark number.

Actually, it's been stated that 325 was the average life-span for a D'ni. As for D'ni age-records, the 30th King of D'ni, Lanaren, died at "the very old age of 396" (Lanaren King's Journal).

Right, but that's the average life-span. As I understand the question, it's "what's the average age" Like, what's the average age at a retirement home or an elementary school or a workplace.

Wink To my understanding, I think Denton meant ife-span as he thanked everyone for posting the average life-span. Smile
