Would it be possible for the people in the know to collaborate on a "sticky" listing the current status of the State of URU Live?

I played the beta, dropped back later for to review a later online version whose state I cannot remember, and returned today to see where things have ended. Unfortunately, there isn't a clear statement of what the current status is. Would it be possible for the "old timers" to put together a summary?

My personal summary of the current situation is:
Cyan announced that they would make Uru open source, but it would take some time to prepare things for release and they are currently busy working on a project with Creative Kingdoms and that is taking priority at the moment.

Not just a sticky, there's a whole forum containing Cyan's announcements and news and it's called (drum roll, please) ... Announcements & News

That said, it's good to ask: these forums are so rife with speculation and reinterpretations of even minor details (Myst games attract that sort of thinker) that it can be hard to figure out the 'actual factual' if you don't know where to find it.
