I hadn't noticed that, Christian, just as I hadn't noticed the possibility of the eclipse -- and both I find quietly thrilling.
Perhaps this is a tiny reflection of where the results of Age Writing can spring surprises on the Writer. It's something I and the rest of the Devokan team would never be able to experience within the Uru:CC and GoW method of writing -- the demands of technical expertise and time are simply too great; the learning curve too daunting. Yet here, in the children's sandbox, working together with friends, blending our own and others' creativity, we can produce 'ages' that people want to visit, to explore, to spend time in...
Yes, it isn't Myst/Uru -- it never could be. But strangers have recognised the source of its inspiration, and some have even said that it felt like they were there, at last, with friends.* Doesn't that say something?
