Hey folks --

The Guild of Maintainers is sponsoring a weekend-long "block party", March 5-7. Further details will be available in a couple of days, or you can get in on the planning action here.

We would love to get some D'niJs for a Kadish Rave on March 7 (part 1 in the Kadish Ballroom, part 2 in the Kadish Moon Room). Can you DJ? We'd love your help! Contact me either here on the MOUL forum or on the GoMa forum linked above.

Thanks much!

kadish rave, meaning techno? if so that might work for me, matters what time really. i also have a shoutcast server i could use, 100 listeners should be enough, right?

thinking back to the day of dancing party in tetsonot that jamey on your forum mentioned i think the maximum we got was something around 80...

anyway, ill go on reading the thread over at your forum and see if i can find a time. if youd like me to play, best leave me a pm, ill notice that earlier (not too much time to read the forums at the moment...).

im just adding your schedule here for sunday quickly, guess you should post it all in a new thread anyway here too to reach some more people:

Quote:

March 7: The Kadish Rave
* Pub Crawl of the Day: The Watcher's Pub

Morning Area: Kadish Tolesa Ballroom
** Activities **
* 9am - 2pm Cavern Time: Music and dancing
A Marker Mission for Kadish Tolesa may be available, depends on how fast I get the Gira one done

Evening Area: Kadish Tolesa Moon Room
** Activities **
* 6pm - whenever: Music and dancing
A Marker Mission for Kadish Tolesa may be available, depends on how fast I get the Gira one done

cavern time is PST at the moment, right? that would mean 9am which is 18pm for me would work fine, i could play 3 hours then.

I'll post the full schedule and invitation as soon as we've got Friday hammered out -- that's the only thing we've got left to take care of.

Thanks so much, dodo, I really appreciate it. (: I'll send you a PM right away.

We still need DJs for the second half of the morning and for the evening. Please contact me if you can help!

Please relate times to GMT - some of us are not aware about relation between PST and our time zones.

Cavern time is GMT -7 [MST = GMT -7, PST = GMT -8]

It's -7 because that's New Mexico's time. Thought I'd put that in there.

Someone can add the Australian times, but for now -

PST - MST - CST - EST - GMT - CET - W(A)ST - E(A)ST

Pacific Standard Time = GMT - 8
Mountain Standard Time = GMT - 7
Central Standard Time = GMT - 6
Eastern Standard Time = GMT - 5
Central European Time = GMT + 1

Eastern European Time (EET)= GMT +2 = UTC +2 (Finland's Time Zone, and some others too)

GMT is old abbreviation and there is new one. This new time system is called Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) since 1.1.1972. Remember that we have 39 different time zones.

And I want to talk about Daylight Saving Time. Well, maybe a little. EU change to daylight saving time at 28.3.2010.

It is my understanding that the info on this site is no longer accurate. The last update I could see was July 2009.
