I second this for the same reason. (Not my intention at all to be self-indulgent here! Razz

)

This topic had endless excitement in it when it was first created, excitement I had not felt throughout the Uru Community for a long time, especially after a year and a half of everything being static... Wink

The topic had some good moments, and a few bad moments here and there (some of which got deleted), but it is still a topic I won't be forgetting anytime soon.

I remember refreshing my browser so many times that day... Laughing

Some good thread suggestions are being offered here. Just a suggestion: when posting a link, you can make it easier on the moderator who's collecting them by inserting the title like this: Victor Laxman <- - - and that one is definitely a classic, IMO. Very Happy

Now, another oldie, but goodie:
The storyline, or lack thereof, has been debated many times over the years, but this thread appears to be one of the first attempts (May 2006). Since then, many only repeat or even parrot statements and positions originally made in this thread initiated by Shields: Make a real story this time.

Companion threads: MAKE A REAL STORY THIS TIME - THE SAGA CONTINUES - one page thread started when the first one was locked for becoming too heated. The original thread was then unlocked with a request by Greydragon to stay on topic and stop calling people idiots. Laughing

When it was locked again, an attempt was made to restart the discussion in Concerning the "Make a real story this time" threa.
