It's okay Smile

It's not that big of a deal if they were still there.

Thank your for those Leonardo. I intended to attend and help out the Writers on sunday, but at the last minute I had to go out. I looks like it went well.
I look forward to the next one in june.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around much. Took a quick trip to Gettysburg with friends, took a stroll around the battlefield.

But it looks like things are coming around and we should be having a 3rd Guild Fair coming up! I'm going to drop back by the GoMa site and poke in here and let's see what we can do, if anything, new to try and bring something exciting to this experience.

Also, I missed out on the second fair. If someone knows what was done differently (if anything) please, PM me either here or at the GoMa forums.

Definitely looking forward to the fair!

I'll probably be around more on Sunday because I have an SAT on Saturday.

I am in a group which I can represent if this happens again and I am available. If I hear about another upcoming event like this, I will let my group know!

The next fair should be July 3 and 4, and the next guild meeting should be Saturday July 3 at 13:00 if we stay true to the same schedule.

Note that July 4 is a holiday in the US so I would expect participation to be very weak on Sunday, but I don't think it should cause any serious disruption for the guild meeting on Saturday.

Those who disagree, feel free to speak up now, so we can figure out if the 3rd and 4th are sufficient or if we should bump to the 10th/11th.

I don't know if I'll be around that weekend at all because I think we're planning to go college touring... the next weekend would be nice though.

BUMP!
So here we are again! The Guilds and Groups Fair in Kirel is going to be on this weekend.
All the Guilds and Groups in the Cavern are invited to join us in Kirel to show to the Community what we are doing, what we are or what we will do in the future! This is a way to promote the Guilds and Groups in the Cavern and make them known to the explorers who may not be aware of the activities of these groups!

As in the past two Fairs, there will be an "All Guilds Meetings" at 13.00 KITime on Saturday in Kirel (at the auditorium) where all the Guilds will have some a floor to speak about their news and take questions from the others. This is a good occasion for discussing with the members of the other Guilds and maybe create new collaborations and joint projects.

All the Groups are encouraged to organize events during the Fair. For example the D'ni Musicological Society will probably make a concert in Kirel. Very Happy

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At the Guild of Messengers we had some discussions about the Fair.
Since we noticed that most of the time Kirel was empty and the Groups representants were there doing nothing while waiting for someone to show, we thought that organizing more events would bring more interest in the Fair (because we know there is already some interest since there are many people during the All Guilds Meeting).
So everyone is encouraged to schedule their events in Kirel during the Fair.
This time we are moving a bit late so probably there will be only the DMR concert (but every group is still encouraged to organize something if they can with so little time Smile ), but in the next Fair I hope to see more events ^^

Then if we see that even with more events there are still only a few people, probably it's better that we reduce the timespan to just one day.

Do you all have other ideas?

I'm not going to be able to stop in there at all probably. I'll be away from the 1st to the 5th. I'll have my laptop so I may be able to stop in for a little bit, but I cannot guarantee anything.

I've also been planning to make an announcement about The Public Project during the all guilds fair as well.

Also, for people who didn't see me earlier, I was working on getting a survey passed around. I'll shoot it to the GoMe once the fair starts, but it's very basic.

Simply, all you have to do is say what you like, dislike and would like to see in the fair in the future. My KI number is included, so just send your feedback back to me and I'll coordinate it with the GoMe so we can better plan for future fairs.

I'll try to be there, but if I can't, I'll edit this post for people who need to know.

*cough* Indeed I was.

Don't worry about it Nek, I'll hand out the survey and route it back to Leo and the GoMe. Looking forward to seeing you guys, and I'll be glad to talk about what's been going on with the Maintainers these past few weeks.
