Shorah everyone!

I am very pleased to announce that after a lot of work, time and procrastination (mostly the 3rd on my part), I have big news from the Guild of Maintainers.

Starting the first Sunday of next month, the Guild of Maintainers will be in-Cavern as part of a massive Recruitment Drive which will last from Sunday until Saturday of the following week.

Understand that this announcement is not meant as a way to promote the event, so much as it is a heads-up for all those who frequent the forums. As I've said before, it has never been our intent to target the audience of Uru that is already well-versed in these forums and the out-of-Cavern modern-day Guilds. Rather, our goal (from November 7th to the 13th) will be to look to those who are active In-Cavern and may not know as much about what it is the Guild does or will do.

However, that's not to dissuade those who are interested from attending! There is, as of now, no clear "organization" to the drive so much as it is that we get Maintainer presence in-Cavern, make ourselves and our Guild known, and allow all interested parties to come, ask questions, and perhaps (at the least) get interested in the world that goes on beyond the game itself.

Our rough schedule (which is open to change) is as follows:

Sunday, November 7th - Primary focus on Kirel to use the momentum of the Guild Fair to let people ask questions or talk with us where a known event is currently taking place.
Monday through Friday - Primarily focused in Ae'gura, and slowly branching out into the Neighborhoods assuming interest and (possibly) membership grows over the week.
Saturday - A final "party" in the GoMa Pub, a sort of summary of all that's been said, and a brief reading-in of new members on what there is now to tackle as we move forward in our Restructuring. After this brief meeting, we plan to either head to Minkata or Jalak Dalor to fool around for a while and let all parties (not just GoMa and newly recruited) come and relax and have fun in a much more casual setting.

As I've said, there are still some "minor" details to be worked out. In the event any major changes are necessary, I will make them here, in this first post about the Drive.

I look forward to seeing many of you in-Cavern, and hopefully see some of you turn out for the Drive. It is my constant hope that this will be a fun and informative time for everyone, not just Explorers and those who decide to join or help out the Guild.

Just a quick note, which Andy made clear on the GoMa forums.

While our schedule is still a "work-in-progress," it is by no means a surefire plan of where we will be. It is highly unlikely, especially from the beginning, that any of us will be able to be in-Cavern, answering questions all day long on what are primarily work days for most people.

That said, the schedule I gave should be used as a guideline to point people into the general area of where we will be. Especially as work lets out for most people, those spots should become repopulated with Maintainers without an overly-extensive amount of time passing (e.g. Us not showing up in-Cavern for an entire day will not happen, we will be in-Cavern at some time on each day of the week, though it just may not be earlier on in the day).

To hit the crowds of people who either play early in the day (from our perspective) or on the weekends, we will have the Sunday (Guild Fair) and Saturday (Wrap-Up) sessions to address those people.

Sorry, quick update as I realized I hadn't listed times for when we were going to get in-Cavern.

This is very loose, as people have different schedules, but for the following days, our hours should roughly be:

Saturday - 12:00PM to 8:00PM EDT
Monday to Friday - 3:00PM to 7:00PM EDT
Saturday - 3:00PM to Whenever EDT

This is rough, and based in part on where people are relatively located and when they can get in-game.

That said, we're really going to push to have people in-Cavern at all hours, so feel free to drop by whenever. You may run into one of us!

The Sunday one (today) is for people who are already accustomed to the Guilds, and just want to know where the GoMa is going to be going forward.

Monday to Friday is going to be in Ae'gura, for those who barely frequent these sites.

Also, as a small note, I may have a small family issue come up today, so I "may" not be in-Cavern for part of today.
