Awesome work on editing and organizing the first chatlog into a smooth flowing story, Malfhok!

The Heritage Documents ought to be stickied.

And, awesome story-telling, Carl! I think it could really help new explorers to understand a lot of things about the cavern and the restoration. Great job!

Thanks so much for organizing and coordinating such a great thing for the community.

I totally agree with Tai'lahr Smile

I have been present at all 4 nights so far (even if it's after midnight for me) and I hope to be at the following nights too, it's really a great event!

Yay Heritage Night! Malfhok, those are excellent edits. This is great. (/me is currently really enjoying the Cavern.) Now if we could just get one of those curiously locked doors in the city open … Very Happy

Thanks Malfhok, those are great!

The next Heritage Night will be this coming Tuesday at the usual time--16:00 KI-time. We'll be discussing the events of the second-to-last episode, "Deception". Since there have been no other volunteers, I'm hosting.

If you do not have access to Phil's Relto and you plan to attend all of Heritage Night, try to "unlock" this location beforehand. If too many explorers have not done this, we may have to skip the field trip and have the entire event in the Bevin--but hopefully all or most of those attending will have Phil's Relto on their Bookshelves.

Also, if you haven't unlocked K'veer yet, you'll want to do so before our final Heritage Night (one week from Tuesday), as the final field trip will be there.

There are plenty of explorers who can help you to find Phil's Relto and K'veer if you haven't yet. Both take a little time to unlock for the first time, though, so it's best to do this BEFORE the field trips in question.

Thanks for a great HN, guys!

Unfortunately, my KI crashed in the middle of tonight's Heritage Night, resulting in my losing about 3/4 of my chatlog. Due to other KI problems, Cal's log is also largely incomplete. So neither of us has a complete log of the evening.

Is there anyone else who logged it? If not, I will post a summary (I guess that will make Malfhok's job a lot easier anyway).

For the next HN, you will need to have access to K'veer if you want to go on the field trip. Cal and I will not be able to assist in the same way that we did tonight, because getting access to K'veer for the first time takes much longer than gaining access to Phil's Relto. If you don't know how to get to K'veer, ask around for help--there are plenty of other explorers willing to help out--in fact there are a couple places where you'll HAVE to get at least one person to help you; it's how the puzzles are designed.

I'm trying to arrange for Messengers to do some relay work, but I can't make any promises here so your best bet is to get K'veer within the next week if you don't already have it.

Chatlog

(12/14 23:03:46) Chat.log started...
(12/14 23:04:00) Carl Palmner: First a few announcements.
(12/14 23:04:15) Cal: *deep breath, such a fast moving crowd*
(12/14 23:04:19) Carl Palmner: First, I want to thank Cal for acting as usher and for helping me put together this weekly event.
(12/14 23:04:31) Hebrew Literacy Program: thank you Cal
(12/14 23:04:32) Szark claps his hands
(12/14 23:04:36) Doobes claps his hands
(12/14 23:04:3Cool Josie claps her hands
(12/14 23:04:39) Sotuknang claps his hands
(12/14 23:04:40) Carl Palmner: Second, this Bevin is recruiting members, so if anyone wants to join, let me know after the event.
(12/14 23:04:41) Cal: */me bows*
(12/14 23:04:43) Elana claps her hands
(12/14 23:05:17) Carl Palmner: Third, tonight's field trip is to a rather unique place, so I want to find something out.
(12/14 23:05:31) To Polgara: bless you
(12/14 23:05:42) sunset: thank
(12/14 23:05:4Cool To janeerah: bless you
(12/14 23:05:55) Carl Palmner: I need to know how many of you have access to Phil's Relto. So if you DON'T have access to Phil's Relto (or if you have no idea what I'm talking about), yell "me!" now...
(12/14 23:06:06) Sotuknang: ME!
(12/14 23:06:07) AllanF: me
(12/14 23:06:07) To Polgara: sorry that was meant for someone else..How are you today?
(12/14 23:06:24) From Polgara: Fine, heard you missed last week also.
(12/14 23:06:25) Carl Palmner: Wow, just 2?
(12/14 23:06:29) Hebrew Literacy Program: i can help them get the link
(12/14 23:06:34) K'ara: me doesn't remember how to get there *laugh*
(12/14 23:06:35) Teshua: me! (I think I've been there ...)
(12/14 23:06:35) Doobes grins
(12/14 23:06:41) Cal: Wow, Carl, and here we had a whole plan in place,
(12/14 23:06:43) To Polgara: yeah bummer. I was baby sitting and forgot
(12/14 23:06:54) Cal: Just incase people DIDN'T Know where they were going. O_o...
(12/14 23:06:57) Carl Palmner: Ok, looks like there are about 6, including PM's.
(12/14 23:07:06) Cal: ah,
(12/14 23:07:07) Carl Palmner: That's fine, we've made provisions for you.
(12/14 23:07:0Cool From Polgara: I was too tired - woke up too late.
(12/14 23:07:19) To Polgara: lol
(12/14 23:07:3Cool Carl Palmner: We'll get to that when we come to the "field trip" segment. Don't worry, Cal and I have arranged to make it very easy for anyone to get Phil's Relto tonight who doesn't already have it.
(12/14 23:07:51) Carl Palmner: We'll explain more on that when we come to it.
(12/14 23:07:54) From Polgara: Nothing to laugh about - just too stupid XD
(12/14 23:07:56) Cal: Yuppers. ^_^;
(12/14 23:08:11) Carl Palmner: For now, one final announcement: Please keep questions and comments to a minimum until after the presentation is done.
(12/14 23:08:1Cool Hebrew Literacy Program nods his head
(12/14 23:08:2Cool Carl Palmner: You don't have to be completely silent, but please remember that the host (me) has a lot of material to cover in a short time.
(12/14 23:08:56) Carl Palmner: Heritage Night is intended as an opportunity for explorers to hear the story of the Second Restoration from those who were there.
(12/14 23:09:26) Carl Palmner: Tonight's "lecture" (or whatever you want to call it) covers the 4th "PR Week" of the DRC.
(12/14 23:09:37) Carl Palmner: To briefly recap.
(12/14 23:10:05) Carl Palmner: Sharper had killed a Bahro in retaliation for Wheely's death, but by accident had shot a good Bahro.
(12/14 23:10:44) Carl Palmner: Phil Henderson, who was NOT dead after all, returned to the cavern to explain that the Bahro Sharper shot had willingly sacrificed itself to protect us from its hostile brethren.
(12/14 23:11:03) Carl Palmner: And for the first time, Bahro had interacted personally with explorers at close range.
(12/14 23:11:24) Szark is amazed!
(12/14 23:11:30) Carl Palmner: A month had now passed since Phil's return, and we had seen neither him nor any more Bahro.
(12/14 23:11:50) Carl Palmner: We were all a bit nervous about the Bahro Civil War, and the events of this week did nothing to assuage our fear.
(12/14 23:12:01) Musica: Hi Cal
(12/14 23:12:12) Carl Palmner: The week began with what I think of as the "March of Colors"...
(12/14 23:12:26) Carl Palmner: But which was really just Phil Henderson acting really, really weird.
(12/14 23:12:46) Carl Palmner: He showed up in one of the Bevins, at the walkway above the garden, talking about colors, and how important they were.
(12/14 23:12:54) Carl Palmner: Talking about how pretty colors are, and how useful.
(12/14 23:12:57) Cal points
(12/14 23:13:06) Carl Palmner: And mostly worrying about whether or not "He" would like the colors.
(12/14 23:13:11) Hebrew Literacy Program draws a circle around his ear
(12/14 23:13:17) morning satelite: shorah
(12/14 23:13:26) Carl Palmner: Phil was still talking about this mysterious "Him", who he claimed was coming to the cavern very soon.
(12/14 23:13:4Cool Carl Palmner: Unfortunately Phil was unwilling to tell us who "He" was--but he hoped "He" liked the colors!
(12/14 23:14:20) Carl Palmner: The March of the Colors ended in Kirel, and many of us later surmised that Phil was actually trying to tell us how important the GUILDS are, since the Guilds are set apart by different colors.
(12/14 23:14:22) To GracelenRose: you will go dizzy
(12/14 23:14:24) Carl Palmner shrugs
(12/14 23:14:26) Cal: "The colors man... the Colors..."
(12/14 23:14:36) Carl Palmner: Either that or he really had just smoke too many Teledahn shrooms.
(12/14 23:14:46) Hebrew Literacy Program roars with laughter
(12/14 23:14:4Cool Doobes: That would be my guess. Razz
(12/14 23:14:56) Cal: Mine as well, too many 'shrooms
(12/14 23:15:0Cool Carl Palmner: Cate made an appearance that day as well, but all she really said was that she hoped the Guild Pubs would be released soon.
(12/14 23:15:26) Carl Palmner: you see, the DRC had promised to release a private pub for each Guild, and Cate had hoped today would be the release day.
(12/14 23:15:34) To Musica: boo
(12/14 23:15:3Cool Carl Palmner: But we didn't actually get to see them until the next day.
(12/14 23:15:42) Cal points
(12/14 23:15:43) To morning satelite: hiya
(12/14 23:15:51) Strayer: ok thx
(12/14 23:15:52) To Doobes: hiya
(12/14 23:16:01) From Doobes: Hi.
(12/14 23:16:04) Carl Palmner: This time, when Cate came to announce the opening of the pubs, many explorers wanted to know about Phil, and his mental state.
(12/14 23:16:05) sunset: stoplog
(12/14 23:16:05) sunset: startlog
(12/14 23:16:06) sunset: stoplog
(12/14 23:16:06) sunset: clearchat
(12/14 23:16:07) sunset: look
(12/14 23:16:07) sunset: clearchat
(12/14 23:16:07) sunset: me is using URU BabelBot
(12/14 23:16:10) From Musica: Hi Szark. Who is this sitting in front of me?
(12/14 23:16:27) Carl Palmner: However, Cate refused to answer questions about Phil.
(12/14 23:16:31) Musica waves hello
(12/14 23:16:34) Carl Palmner: Or about the Bahro.
(12/14 23:16:50) Carl Palmner: She even went so far as to say she would not believe in any "Bahro War" until she saw it with her own eyes.
(12/14 23:16:56) Carl Palmner: A fairly stupid statement, if you ask me.
(12/14 23:16:59) To Musica: not sure
(12/14 23:17:02) Carl Palmner: But then, Cate was never known for tact or vision.
(12/14 23:17:03) Carl Palmner shrugs
(12/14 23:17:04) Doobes: Head in the sand.
(12/14 23:17:06) Hebrew Literacy Program nods his head
(12/14 23:17:06) Cal: Oh... the irony....
(12/14 23:17:29) Carl Palmner: And of course, we saw more of Phil that day, talking about colors and "Him" once more.
(12/14 23:18:0Cool Carl Palmner: I think many of us had come to the conclusion that "He" was just a delusion of Phil's, but then Sharper set us straight.
(12/14 23:18:22) Carl Palmner: He came to the Watcher's Pub to talk about the Bahro War.
(12/14 23:18:34) Carl Palmner: Said that the war would probably come to the cavern.
(12/14 23:18:34) Cal points
(12/14 23:18:44) Carl Palmner: Said that the hostile side might very well destroy D'ni.
(12/14 23:18:49) Szark cowers
(12/14 23:18:55) Carl Palmner: Said that the good Bahro were losing the war.
(12/14 23:19:0Cool Carl Palmner: And, finally, said he knew who Phil meant by "Him."
(12/14 23:19:32) Carl Palmner: Sharper had met Him, he said, and knew exactly who Phil referred to--but Sharper refused to tell us the mysterious person's identity.
(12/14 23:19:46) Carl Palmner: Just said that he hoped we would listen to "Him" when "He" showed up.
(12/14 23:20:06) Carl Palmner: And then told us he was going to reopen an old area that might prove useful if the Bahro War came to the cavern.
(12/14 23:20:20) Carl Palmner: There was an old spy room that Sharper had used during the First Restoration to spy on the DRC.
(12/14 23:20:37) Carl Palmner: In it, he'd left Phil's stolen Relto Book.
(12/14 23:20:51) Carl Palmner: Sharper promised that he would reopen the area soon, so that we could go there again.
(12/14 23:20:59) Carl Palmner: And the next day, that's exactly what he did.
(12/14 23:21:00) Hebrew Literacy Program gets wide eyed
(12/14 23:21:11) Carl Palmner: We'll go now to what was a new area at the time--Phil's old Relto.
(12/14 23:21:31) Carl Palmner: Those who already have the area "unlocked", go ahead and go there now, and please be patient while the rest of us get there.
(12/14 23:21:33) Strayer is amazed!
(12/14 23:21:3Cool Carl Palmner: Should only be a few minutes.
(12/14 23:21:40) Hebrew Literacy Program: see you there
(12/14 23:21:42) Doobes nods
(12/14 23:23:39) Strayer waves hello
(12/14 23:23:44) Doobes says hey
(12/14 23:24:21) Strayer: great its raining
(12/14 23:24:3Cool Strayer waves hello
(12/14 23:24:47) Gahlen: Is it always raining here?
(12/14 23:24:50) Hebrew Literacy Program nods his head
(12/14 23:24:52) Sheila'R nods her head
(12/14 23:24:52) Doobes: Pretty much.
(12/14 23:25:02) Strayer: lol
(12/14 23:25:04) Gahlen sighs.
(12/14 23:25:05) tommyap: and dark too , we must be missing a relto-page
(12/14 23:25:19) Hebrew Literacy Program: or he got one we don't konw about
(12/14 23:25:33) Doobes: It has something to do with Phil himself. Carl may explain.
(12/14 23:26:43) Cal: If you'll look at the book shelf, you'll notice the arangement of books is different from what it is on our reltos
(12/14 23:26:57) Hebrew Literacy Program: from the URU CC version
(12/14 23:26:5Cool Cal: That is what relto book shelfs looked like BEFORE the Great Scream
(12/14 23:27:00) Doobes: Guy had quite the collection.
(12/14 23:27:0Cool Strayer is amazed!
(12/14 23:27:11) Cal: excluding all the extra books
(12/14 23:27:43) Cal: Infact, all of the relto pages in use here were all that we could use before the scream as well,
(12/14 23:27:4Cool Cal: Excluding the night sky
(12/14 23:27:4Cool From Polgara: Perfect place Smile
(12/14 23:27:49) Cal: Of course. Wink
(12/14 23:27:57) Cal: Nobody knows where he got THAT from.
(12/14 23:28:05) To Polgara: hehe
(12/14 23:28:22) From Musica: I will broadcast holiday music this Saturday night as I planned
(12/14 23:28:2Cool Gahlen: Whilst we're waiting for Carl and the others
(12/14 23:28:29) Cal: Although, Phil doesn't have an imager, either,
(12/14 23:28:33) Cal: Or a clock.
(12/14 23:28:41) Gahlen: How did Sharper get hold of Phil's Relto book?
(12/14 23:28:46) To Musica: nice if Marten isn't filming I may join you
(12/14 23:28:51) Cal: Ah, that was a...
(12/14 23:28:54) Strayer: and a blue flame circle
(12/14 23:28:5Cool Cal: Long... LOng... story...
(12/14 23:29:0Cool Cal: You see, back in 2004,
(12/14 23:29:19) Cal: sharper had stolen Phil's relto book and hid it in the spy room,
(12/14 23:29:24) From Musica: oh how did that go?
(12/14 23:29:27) Cal: For use in leaving the place, probably,
(12/14 23:29:32) Cal: It was due to this, though,
(12/14 23:29:41) Cal: That when the colapse in the Guild hall occured,
(12/14 23:29:50) Cal: Everyone assumed Phil had died,
(12/14 23:29:50) To Musica: absoluty great fun and fairly smoothly
(12/14 23:29:53) Cal: No relto book on hand.
(12/14 23:30:02) Hebrew Literacy Program: and the book was undamaged then?
(12/14 23:30:07) Strayer: watson said he died
(12/14 23:30:12) Cal: There was no way he could escape because he had no book.
(12/14 23:30:15) To Musica: I played two parts
(12/14 23:30:15) Cal: Sharper had it.
(12/14 23:30:20) Cal: But, the bahro had rescued him.
(12/14 23:30:31) Strayer is amazed!
(12/14 23:30:42) Cal: Some people think that the reason that it's night here, is because The relto is sad for Phil
(12/14 23:30:49) Cal: You see, Phil was...
(12/14 23:30:56) Cal: well, he was a person of interrest,
(12/14 23:31:06) Cal: You see, Phil was the first to take the journey
(12/14 23:31:17) Cal: He was the first to follow yeesha,
(12/14 23:31:22) Cal: And his mental state was...
(12/14 23:31:31) Hebrew Literacy Program: and the 1st to complete it
(12/14 23:31:31) Cal: Iffy after that.
(12/14 23:31:40) Cal: More so than it was durring this time period that we're reviewing.
(12/14 23:31:4Cool Cal: You see, Phil, at one point,
(12/14 23:31:52) Cal: vanished entirely,
(12/14 23:31:59) Cal: nobody knew where he was,
(12/14 23:32:0Cool Cal: And then, one day,
(12/14 23:32:20) Cal: explorers got strange KI signals from Eder Gira,
(12/14 23:32:26) Cal: Then the only Hood Garden age there was.
(12/14 23:32:29) Cal: Erm,
(12/14 23:32:31) Cal: Not Gira,
(12/14 23:32:33) Cal: eder Kemo.
(12/14 23:32:51) Cal: The Bahro door in Kemo was the only area that the signal was comming from.
(12/14 23:32:59) Cal: And that signal was from ;phil,
(12/14 23:33:11) Strayer: wow
(12/14 23:33:12) Cal: He was trapped behind the door,
(12/14 23:33:12) Szark: Cal this is Prologue days isn't it?
(12/14 23:33:1Cool Cal: in the darkness,
(12/14 23:33:22) Cal: No clue where he was,
(12/14 23:33:34) Cal: So, some lucky explorer who had gotten Kemo and Gira finished,
(12/14 23:33:40) Cal: Came and opened the door.
(12/14 23:33:4Cool Cal: There Phil was.
(12/14 23:33:54) Cal: Dazed and confused.
(12/14 23:34:00) Cal: But, relatively okay.
(12/14 23:34:17) Cal: That brought the DRC's attention down on him.
(12/14 23:34:2Cool Cal: they for lack of a better word KIDNAPPED Phil,
(12/14 23:34:42) Cal: But he escaped, and then Sharper took his relto book to protect him.
(12/14 23:34:44) Strayer: Not true
(12/14 23:34:4Cool Cal: To keep him from linking away.
(12/14 23:34:56) Cal: Hm? Really? That's what I recall reading...
(12/14 23:34:57) Cal: *Shrug*
(12/14 23:35:0Cool Cal: I wasn't around back then, most people weren't...
(12/14 23:35:14) Cal: Ah, Carl's on his way,
(12/14 23:35:19) Strayer: true
(12/14 23:35:22) Cal: Apparently his KI fritzed out... Twice..
(12/14 23:35:34) Cal: yes, the prologue era is what Marten's filming.
(12/14 23:35:50) Cal: That'll be more exact than what I can remember, probably.
(12/14 23:35:54) Hebrew Literacy Program: is he looking for more help?
(12/14 23:35:56) Szark: Yeah I was just about to say that Cal
(12/14 23:36:05) Cal: Hey carl,
(12/14 23:36:10) Strayer: shorah carl
(12/14 23:36:17) Cal: Was just explaining about why Sharper had Phil's relto.
(12/14 23:36:34) Cal: Borky Ki's, eh?
(12/14 23:36:3Cool Hebrew Literacy Program: not an issue carl
(12/14 23:37:06) Strayer: mine is working just fine
(12/14 23:37:56) Cal pats the ground, muttering "Poor thing... got replaced..."
(12/14 23:38:23) Hebrew Literacy Program: too bad he didn't unlock all the books in there
(12/14 23:40:34) Cal: for 2010, atleast, right Carl?
(12/14 23:41:34) Strayer: I know where he was exactly trapped at and its blocked
(12/14 23:41:50) Hebrew Literacy Program: they will need a friend to help them get there
(12/14 23:42:15) Strayer: actually, I already did without help
(12/14 23:43:15) Carl Palmner: Thanks Hebrew
(12/14 23:43:17) Carl Palmner: Now, to continue
(12/14 23:43:26) Carl Palmner: As I said, Phil's Relto wasn't the only news that day.
(12/14 23:43:3Cool Carl Palmner: Remember Michael Engberg, the DRC member who'd lost his daughter to the hostile Bahro?
(12/14 23:43:42) Hebrew Literacy Program: HLP for short
(12/14 23:43:4Cool Hebrew Literacy Program nods his head
(12/14 23:44:02) Omen: sorry I'm late
(12/14 23:44:02) Strayer nods his head
(12/14 23:44:10) Cal: i'm sure we all remember, Carl. *smiles weakly...*
(12/14 23:44:11) Carl Palmner: While mourning Wheely, Engberg seemed to have gone crazy at the end of Scars Week, wandering around, then suddenly muttering Watson's name and running away.
(12/14 23:44:30) Carl Palmner: "Watson" being the former DRC leader, missing in action since the First Restoration.
(12/14 23:44:43) Carl Palmner: Well, Phil wasn't the only person to make a dramatic return.
(12/14 23:44:44) Strayer: yikes
(12/14 23:44:55) Carl Palmner: On the same day that this place was made available, Engberg came back.
(12/14 23:45:12) Omen: so phil didn't die?
(12/14 23:45:17) Carl Palmner: He appeared in Ae'Gura, and explorers were overwhelmed with joy to see him.
(12/14 23:45:19) Strayer: no
(12/14 23:45:19) Hebrew Literacy Program shakes his head
(12/14 23:45:37) Strayer: Smile
(12/14 23:45:40) Carl Palmner: So was Marie Sutherland, the DRC member who came to meet him once she heard he was back.
(12/14 23:45:52) Carl Palmner: They didn't talk long, and Engberg refused to speak about his experiences or where he'd gone.
(12/14 23:46:12) Carl Palmner: But that didn't stop the rumors that Engberg was the mysterious "He" that Phil kept talkign about.
(12/14 23:46:1Cool Carl Palmner: Those rumors were wrong.
(12/14 23:46:33) Strayer: I knew it
(12/14 23:46:3Cool Strayer is amazed!
(12/14 23:46:44) Carl Palmner: I don't know if anyone has heard from Engberg since that day. He keeps to himself mostly, doesn't involve himself in the cavern.
(12/14 23:46:44) Hebrew Literacy Program says DOH!
(12/14 23:47:01) Carl Palmner: But very very late that night, someone else returned to the cavern--someone we had logn awaited.
(12/14 23:47:04) Carl Palmner: Dr. Watson.
(12/14 23:47:36) Carl Palmner: I wasn't there the day Watson first came back--I was on the surface, tending to other matters.
(12/14 23:47:40) Omen: I'm pretty sure Phil isn't too happy that there are uninvited guests on his Relto
(12/14 23:48:09) Hebrew Literacy Program: understandable
(12/14 23:48:09) Carl Palmner: According to reports I've read, Watson showed up in the Concert Hall Foyer, and was soon mobbed by ecstatic explorers.
(12/14 23:48:20) SmilingOne: when did you speak to phil?
(12/14 23:48:40) Carl Palmner: let's keep comments to a minimum for the moment Smile
(12/14 23:48:59) Carl Palmner: Watson told us he was pretty sure who Phil meant by "Him"--Phil meant Watson.
(12/14 23:49:17) Carl Palmner: Apparently the two had spent a lot of time together while they were away from the cavern--time with the Bahro.
(12/14 23:49:37) Carl Palmner: Watson said he was not as good at communicating with the Bahro was Phil was, but he confirmed the reports of a Bahro Civil War.
(12/14 23:49:55) Carl Palmner: A war which he said the "good" Bahro were losing.
(12/14 23:50:24) Carl Palmner: Finally, he gave us the best news many had heard yet--Yeesha was still around, and still involved.
(12/14 23:50:40) Carl Palmner: She was on Releeshahn, with the D'ni survivors.
(12/14 23:50:5Cool Strayer: holy crap
(12/14 23:51:05) Carl Palmner: Watson told us he was unsure how to proceed now that he was back, and excused himself from explorers' presence.
(12/14 23:51:15) Carl Palmner: But the next day, he was back.
(12/14 23:51:26) Carl Palmner: After a brieff visit from Sharper in the Watcher's Pub, Watson showed up there as well.
(12/14 23:51:44) Carl Palmner: He told us what we had already guessed--that the Bahro were free.
(12/14 23:51:54) Carl Palmner: The events of Myst V were more of less true.
(12/14 23:52:19) Carl Palmner: And he knew this, because it was HIM who returned the Tablet to the Bahro and released them from their slavery.
(12/14 23:52:41) Carl Palmner: He said that he no longer believed in a physical restoration of D'ni.
(12/14 23:52:5Cool Carl Palmner: But he also told us to "find a way, make a home."
(12/14 23:53:11) Carl Palmner: I missed this meeting too, because I was here, on Phil's Relto.
(12/14 23:53:14) Carl Palmner: With Phil.
(12/14 23:53:23) Carl Palmner: There was a huge crowd of us here that day.
(12/14 23:53:31) Carl Palmner: And Phil Linked in to speak to us.
(12/14 23:53:53) Carl Palmner: Most of his words were rambling and incoherent, but there were a few things he said that seemed eerily insightful, if cryptic.
(12/14 23:54:03) Carl Palmner: He told us,
(12/14 23:54:15) Carl Palmner: "The answers are there, man. You just have to listen."
(12/14 23:54:2Cool Carl Palmner: When we asked what we had to listen to, he said, "Her."
(12/14 23:54:47) Carl Palmner: I can only assume he meant Yeesha, but what answers he thought we could find in her words, I don't know.
(12/14 23:54:49) Carl Palmner shrugs
(12/14 23:55:09) Carl Palmner: Phil was standing rigth about here when he said it.
(12/14 23:55:09) Strayer: yeesha
(12/14 23:55:19) Carl Palmner: He backed up slowly.
(12/14 23:55:24) Carl Palmner: And then he jumped off.
(12/14 23:55:29) Carl Palmner shrugs
(12/14 23:55:34) Szark: don't jump Carl its notthat bad
(12/14 23:55:46) Strayer: why did he jump
(12/14 23:55:47) Carl Palmner: He had a new Relto Book on his belt. I can only assume he used it while falling.
(12/14 23:55:54) Carl Palmner: I haven't seen him since.
(12/14 23:56:03) <sniffle> Hebrew Literacy Program is sad
(12/14 23:56:14) Carl Palmner: I hope he's okay. I'll always remember his words--"The answers are there, man. You just have to listen."
(12/14 23:56:29) Carl Palmner: We'll return to my Bevin now, for the conclusion of the evening.
(12/14 23:56:37) Carl Palmner: There's only a little bit left, and then the marker games.
(12/14 23:56:40) Carl Palmner: See you back in bevin!
(12/14 23:56:44) Hebrew Literacy Program: be there shortly
(12/14 23:57:50) Strayer: how did I get up here
(12/14 23:58:37) Carl Palmner waves hello
(12/14 23:58:5Cool Carl Palmner: Shorah all.
(12/14 23:59:07) Cal: Welcome back everyone
(12/14 23:59:14) Nith wrings out her hair.
(12/14 23:59:21) Carl Palmner: Everyone back who's coming?
(12/14 23:59:22) Szark: lol
(12/14 23:59:27) tommyap: no
(12/14 23:59:29) Hebrew Literacy Program: any towels around here?
(12/15 00:00:14) Carl Palmner: It's come to my attention that, due to the loud rain in Phil's Relto, not everyone could hear my words there.
(12/15 00:00:24) Carl Palmner: Can everyone hear me now?
(12/15 00:00:26) Omen: but we could read them
(12/15 00:00:29) Hebrew Literacy Program: yes
(12/15 00:00:31) Carl Palmner: If you can't hear me, say so ;D
(12/15 00:00:32) Szark: pardon
(12/15 00:00:41) morning satelite: wot
(12/15 00:00:53) Carl Palmner: For those who were unable to hear me on Phil's Relto--
(12/15 00:00:54) tommyap: test .. test
(12/15 00:01:15) Carl Palmner: You can read a log of this presentation on the MOUL forums under the Events section.
(12/15 00:01:29) Omen: dgsfhgafhfhhj the... rain... shorted... out... my... KKKI
(12/15 00:01:41) Carl Palmner: Also, it takes a few days but there is a fellow who edits the logs and prints up just the narration part, and puts it in the "History and Myths" section.
(12/15 00:01:50) tommyap: someone still under way
(12/15 00:02:14) Omen: this is a big crowd
(12/15 00:02:32) Carl Palmner: So, if you couldn't hear me and want to read that part of the story, go to those parts of the forums where the logs get posted.
(12/15 00:02:3Cool tommyap: problem for slow pc's
(12/15 00:02:45) Carl Palmner: All right, let's see where was I...
(12/15 00:02:52) Omen: Phil jumped
(12/15 00:03:05) Hebrew Literacy Program: and you've not seen him since then
(12/15 00:03:09) Strayer: let him talk omen
(12/15 00:03:14) Carl Palmner: Watson had returned, he and others told us that Watson was the "He" Phil had referred to, Engberg was back but keeping quiet.
(12/15 00:03:55) Carl Palmner: The day after Phil and Watson made their simultaneous appearances, Watson came to one of the Bevins and gave a speech.
(12/15 00:04:03) Carl Palmner: I won't repeat the entire speech as it would take too long.
(12/15 00:04:1Cool Carl Palmner: But I strongly recommend you read the record of it that can be found, among other places, on the uru Obsession Forums.
(12/15 00:04:32) Carl Palmner: Among other things, Watson spoke out in support of the Guilds.
(12/15 00:04:43) Cal: once they fix the formatting in the CT threads, of course... ^_^;
(12/15 00:05:05) Carl Palmner: Nope, Cal--the speech is still there, I checked Very Happy
(12/15 00:05:19) Carl Palmner: Many explorers had expressed concern over the Guilds role in the fall of D'ni.
(12/15 00:05:21) Cal: oh? Really?
(12/15 00:05:27) Carl Palmner: But Watson said it was not the Guilds at fault, but pride.
(12/15 00:05:32) Cal: must've been quoted differently from the other logs...
(12/15 00:05:55) Carl Palmner: He encouraged explorers to join the Guilds.
(12/15 00:06:03) Carl Palmner: He also told us to beware of pride, and of disunity.
(12/15 00:06:20) Carl Palmner: We had begun to fracture again, and Watson counselled against this.
(12/15 00:06:3Cool Carl Palmner: He told us there were many of us who needed to learn to unite, and not to fight amongst ourselves.
(12/15 00:07:07) Carl Palmner: He said that while he no longer believed the cavern should bere-inhabited, he still felt that there was much we could learn from it.
(12/15 00:07:17) Carl Palmner: But those lessons, he said, should be applied elsewhere in life.
(12/15 00:07:3Cool Carl Palmner: He warned us again about the Bahro, and told us that the hostile ones showed no rhyme or reason in there destruction.
(12/15 00:07:46) Carl Palmner: It was destruction for destruction's sake.
(12/15 00:08:04) Carl Palmner: I'll quote what I consider to be the most important few setences:
(12/15 00:08:2Cool Carl Palmner: "The 'good' bahro protecting us have created a grand Deception for our peace of mind--an illusion that all is well here in the Cavern and the Ages...."
(12/15 00:08:45) Carl Palmner: "We have been told that 'destruction is coming'."
(12/15 00:09:00) Carl Palmner: "I believe specifically that the destruction is coming to the Cavern, but I could be wrong about that too.:
(12/15 00:09:15) Carl Palmner: "It is entierly possible that the destruction is a great deal larger than that."
(12/15 00:09:19) SmilingOne is worried
(12/15 00:09:24) Carl Palmner: He went on to tell us that Yeesha had been fighting for us.
(12/15 00:09:33) Strayer shakes his head
(12/15 00:09:36) Hebrew Literacy Program turns white & matches his shirt
(12/15 00:10:00) Carl Palmner: She had already been to hundreds of Ages, searching for some way to end the Bahro conflict, or at least to protect us when the goods Bahro became too weak to do so.
(12/15 00:10:22) Carl Palmner: But, said Watson, it was looking more unlikely that she would not find what she sought in the Ages currently available.
(12/15 00:10:41) Carl Palmner: That was why the Guilds were so important--we need NEW Ages to explore, new Ages to search for a solution to the Bahro problem.
(12/15 00:11:15) Carl Palmner: Because the war was coming, the good side was losing, and if we didn't find some way to protect ourselves, we might be their next target.
(12/15 00:11:16) Strayer: what about Descent
(12/15 00:11:21) Carl Palmner bows
(12/15 00:11:30) Gahlen claps his hands
(12/15 00:11:31) Nith claps her hands
(12/15 00:11:32) GracelenRose claps her hands
(12/15 00:11:33) Carl Palmner: And that was the end of the week Smile
(12/15 00:11:35) Szark claps his hands
(12/15 00:11:35) Sheila'R claps her hands
(12/15 00:11:35) Strayer: does that have any answers to the Bahro
(12/15 00:11:36) Josie claps her hands
(12/15 00:11:36) Polgara claps her hands
(12/15 00:11:42) Elana claps her hands
(12/15 00:11:43) SmilingOne claps his hands
(12/15 00:11:46) Hebrew Literacy Program: thanks for all your time carl!
(12/15 00:11:47) Musica cheers
(12/15 00:11:50) morning satelite claps her hands
(12/15 00:11:50) AllanF claps his hands
(12/15 00:11:53) Carl Palmner: Descent? Possibly, but none that I've ever found.
(12/15 00:12:01) Strayer: k
(12/15 00:12:0Cool Carl Palmner: Ok, just to reiterate--for the next Heritage Night you'll need K'veer unlocked!
(12/15 00:12:0Cool Gahlen: Another excellent session. Thanks very much!
(12/15 00:12:27) tommyap: thanks
(12/15 00:12:29) Sheila'R: For those who haven't yet seen them, Marten's videos covering events in Prologue are at http://rel.to/prologue
(12/15 00:12:31) Musica: Thanks to you both Carl and Cal
(12/15 00:12:31) Carl Palmner: I'm trying to arrange for Messengers to help for those who don't have K'veer, but your best bet is to unlock K'veer before then.
(12/15 00:13:01) Hebrew Literacy Program: and just ask anyone online to help you get there
(12/15 00:13:05) Carl Palmner: Also, don't be TOO paranoid of the Bahro--there is reason to believe the only ones remaining here are friendly. We'll find out why next week, on the last Heritage Night.
(12/15 00:13:15) SmilingOne: Has anyone ever made it to the bottom of descent?
(12/15 00:13:1Cool Musica claps her hands
(12/15 00:13:1Cool Cal: My turn to host, once more...
(12/15 00:13:26) Carl Palmner: If anyone is interested in joining this Bevin, let me know.
(12/15 00:13:27) Cal takes a deep breath
(12/15 00:13:35) Carl Palmner: We're small but growing.
(12/15 00:13:43) Carl Palmner: Anyway feel free to ask any questions now.
(12/15 00:13:52) Carl Palmner: And answer other peoples' if you know the answers Smile
(12/15 00:13:57) Hebrew Literacy Program wants to ask a question...
(12/15 00:14:04) SmilingOne: has anyone ever made it to the bottom of descent?
(12/15 00:14:09) Cal: SmilingOne, as far as I know, No-one has yet,
(12/15 00:14:16) Cal: Not without lots of rope ladders,
(12/15 00:14:16) Carl Palmner: None that I know, Smiling One.
(12/15 00:14:17) Strayer: no, do you know how
(12/15 00:14:22) Carl Palmner: Although it's a good bet Watson has been there.
(12/15 00:14:2Cool Cal: or pure luck with falling and landing on a ledge.
(12/15 00:14:39) SmilingOne: I landed on a ledge
(12/15 00:14:43) Strayer: impossible
(12/15 00:14:46) Musica: About when did these events take place in the MOUL on Gametap, please?
(12/15 00:15:02) Cal: This was the penultimate week, Musica,
(12/15 00:15:0Cool Cal: Meaning it was in Septenber.

(12/15 00:15:51) Cal: Nope, sorry,
(12/15 00:15:53) Carl Palmner: Strayer--not that I know of.
(12/15 00:16:03) Carl Palmner: However there is a light machine there in Descent.
(12/15 00:16:05) SmilingOne: there's the KI machine though
(12/15 00:16:07) Hebrew Literacy Program: take advantage of that KI light
(12/15 00:16:09) Cal: Any fireflies scatter upon linking anywhere beyond Gira ore Relto.
(12/15 00:16:10) Strayer: sigh
(12/15 00:16:10) Carl Palmner: Unfortunately it doesn't last long.
(12/15 00:16:11) Cal: Or*

(12/15 00:17:15) Carl Palmner: The new one is about twice the normal size, and you'll need to change clothing several times to complete it.

(12/15 00:20:07) Strayer: is there a possible way to reach the bottom at Descent
(12/15 00:20:15) Cal: that's the "fun" part
(12/15 00:20:21) Carl Palmner: Strayer--not currently.
(12/15 00:20:22) Strayer: ugh
(12/15 00:20:27) Cal: No Legal Way, Strayer,
(12/15 00:20:30) Carl Palmner: Ok, anyone NOT get both Marker games that wants them?
(12/15 00:20:31) Josie: thanks Carl Smile
(12/15 00:20:33) Strayer: thx anyway
(12/15 00:20:42) Nith: Thanks, guys!
(12/15 00:20:43) Cal: Ventus: You have to solve Er'cana and Ahnonay-ing inorder to get there.
(12/15 00:20:45) AllanF: here
(12/15 00:20:46) Polgara: Thanks
(12/15 00:20:56) Elana: thx
(12/15 00:20:59) Ventus: Are those group Ages?
(12/15 00:21:06) Cal: it requires a bit of... timing for the final puzzle,
(12/15 00:21:1Cool Cal: while not "Group" In the sense of Delin and Tsogal,
(12/15 00:21:25) Cal: they ARE Multiplayer in places.
(12/15 00:21:29) Elana: to finish ahnonay you need some help
(12/15 00:21:33) Strayer: o, I got that part done already
(12/15 00:21:43) Cal: the puzzle for K'veer and Myst in particular is MP.
(12/15 00:21:47) Carl Palmner: To get K'veer you'll need plenty of time and a little help from a friend in at least 2 different places.
(12/15 00:22:11) ...Chat.log stopped.

Thanks, Szark!

I will get last night's log edited down as soon as I can.

Edit: Now that I've read it, thanks for mentioning my edits, Carl. I'm already about halfway through the editing process on this one, so hopefully I'll do better than the few days you said during the event. Smile

Edit again: And the edited version is up in The Heritage Documents.

I have tonight's log but it will have to wait--I need some time to edit out all the PM's between me and Polgara, who acted as relayer. When I get a chance (either later tonight or tomorrow) I'll post it.

Below is the log of the "Heritage Night Finale" that took place tonight. As usual I've edited the log to show when explorers moved from one area to another, and deleted all of the PM's. There were a lot this time because I was helping to relay Calum's presentation in K'veer back to the Bevin for those who weren't able to come on the field trip.

(12/21 18:03:09) Chat.log started...
(12/21 18:03:10) DimensionTravelerCalum: Why, Carl, I'd say we're just getting to the normal starting crowd
(12/21 18:03:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: xP
(12/21 18:03:29) Carl Palmner: Yes, some of you may notice I am wearing the Yeesha Shirt, something I haven't worn in many years.
(12/21 18:03:54) Omen: are we taking sides
(12/21 18:03:57) Omen: ?
(12/21 18:04:06) Carl Palmner: It seemed appropriate for tonight. When you've heard the last part of our story this evening, I think you'll understand why I choose to

show my support for Yeesha tonight.
(12/21 18:04:17) DimensionTravelerCalum agrees with that,
(12/21 18:04:19) Gahlen smiles.
(12/21 18:04:32) Carl Palmner: Calum is wearing his, too--I believe for the same reasons.
(12/21 18:04:3Cool Carl Palmner: A few quick announcements before we begin.
(12/21 18:05:02) Omen cheers
(12/21 18:05:0Cool Carl Palmner: First, tonight's field trip will be to K'veer--but we have an arrangement in case you don't have K'veer unlocked yet.
(12/21 18:05:10) Omen does a dance
(12/21 18:05:16) Carl Palmner: Polgara, are you still willing to help us with relaying tonight?
(12/21 18:05:26) Polgara: Of course
(12/21 18:05:52) Omen: are we all going to Myst?
(12/21 18:05:57) Carl Palmner: Excellent. In that case, when we get to the field trip segment, those who do not have K'veer unlocked should stay right here.
(12/21 18:06:16) Carl Palmner: We will be reviving an old Restoration tradition--relaying!
(12/21 18:06:26) DimensionTravelerCalum: The relayers, for those who don't know,
(12/21 18:06:36) Carl Palmner: In the old days, Bevins and AeGura would often "max out" on population whenever anyone important showed up there.
(12/21 18:06:50) DimensionTravelerCalum: Were a group of explorers back in the second restoration who "relayed" events to those who could not make it.
(12/21 18:06:59) Carl Palmner: That meant that many explorers who wanted to hear what the DRC (or whoever it was) was saying couldn't get in.
(12/21 18:07:37) Carl Palmner: So, specific Bevins would be set up as relay points, and explorers who were there at the events would repeat the words to friends in

those Bevins, who would then repeat them again to those with them.
(12/21 18:08:01) Carl Palmner: Over time a guild was formed--the Guild of Relayers--which was (I think) eventually absorbed into the Guild of Messengers.
(12/21 18:08:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: Yeah, that's what happened, I'm pretty sure.
(12/21 18:08:20) Carl Palmner: Polgara, in her capacity as a Messenger, will be helping me to relay Cal's words to those who can't make it to K'veer.
(12/21 18:08:27) Carl Palmner: So I'd like to thank her for that.
(12/21 18:08:35) DimensionTravelerCalum cheers
(12/21 18:08:3Cool Carl Palmner: Also I'd like to thank GracelenRose for acting as usher tonight.
(12/21 18:08:45) Josie claps her hands
(12/21 18:08:46) DimensionTravelerCalum claps his hands
(12/21 18:08:51) Omen claps his hands
(12/21 18:08:53) Gahlen claps his hands
(12/21 18:08:5Cool Carl Palmner: Grace, you are welcome to join us when we go to K'veer--we won't make you stay here to usher that part Smile
(12/21 18:09:17) Char Gearz claps for GracelenRose
(12/21 18:09:21) Carl Palmner: And of course, a special thank you to DimensionTravelerCalum, who will host most of this evening's presentation, and who helped me put

together this event.
(12/21 18:09:32) DimensionTravelerCalum waves and says "yo!"
(12/21 18:09:50) Carl Palmner: We'd like to ask you to keep questions and comments to a minimum until the end of the event.
(12/21 18:10:02) DimensionTravelerCalum: Refreshments are in the fountain. ^_^;;
(12/21 18:10:10) Char Gearz: does anyone mind if I make a chat log of this?
(12/21 18:10:11) Omen: WHOOOOOOO
(12/21 18:10:1Cool tommyap shivers
(12/21 18:10:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: Please do, Char,
(12/21 18:10:2Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: We can never have too many chat logs
(12/21 18:10:34) Carl Palmner: Tonight is the Heritage night "Finale", during which we'll discuss the last days of the Restoration and how things came to be the way

they were when we all to the cavern last February.
(12/21 18:10:50) Char Gearz: startchatlog
(12/21 18:10:5Cool Char Gearz: lol
(12/21 18:11:10) Carl Palmner: Cal will host most of the evening, and then I will make some concluding remarks when we come back here to the Bevin at the end.
(12/21 18:11:30) Carl Palmner: Oh, one final comment in case Cal forgets to mention it
(12/21 18:11:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: Eh? Forget what?
(12/21 18:11:47) Carl Palmner: When we go to K'veer, make sure you go through the NEXUS, not through the direct Link in your Relto.
(12/21 18:11:57) DimensionTravelerCalum: *hopes he doesn't forget now...* Oh... that... XP
(12/21 18:12:12) Carl Palmner: if you use the Relto Link to get there, you'll end up in the wrong instance, and won't see or hear the rest of us Smile
(12/21 18:12:25) Carl Palmner: Without further ado I'll turn the time over to tonight's host, DimensionTravelerCalum!
(12/21 18:12:34) Josie claps her hands
(12/21 18:12:39) DimensionTravelerCalum says hey
(12/21 18:12:41) DimensionTravelerCalum: shorah everyone!
(12/21 18:12:42) Omen claps his hands
(12/21 18:12:45) tommyap claps his hands
(12/21 18:12:49) Polgara claps her hands
(12/21 18:12:53) Musica claps her hands
(12/21 18:12:54) DimensionTravelerCalum: tonight's subject week is called Exodus,
(12/21 18:12:55) AOEC claps his hands
(12/21 18:13:02) Omen claps his hands
(12/21 18:13:1Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: which we named after the book in the Bible for reasons that will be explained later, by Carl.
(12/21 18:13:3Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: Or, maybe, perhaps, even for the week I'm about to describe.
(12/21 18:13:45) DimensionTravelerCalum: November First, 2007.
(12/21 18:13:52) DimensionTravelerCalum: Day One.
(12/21 18:13:5Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: *deep breath*
(12/21 18:14:22) DimensionTravelerCalum: Durring Familiar Voices, I mentioned that everything happened just after lunch.
(12/21 18:14:32) DimensionTravelerCalum: this week, everything started before lunch.
(12/21 18:14:42) DimensionTravelerCalum: 11:00 A.M., Ae'gura.
(12/21 18:14:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: Cate Alexander linked to the city and made an announcement.
(12/21 18:14:57) DimensionTravelerCalum: "I am leaving the DRC"
(12/21 18:15:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: Surely, as you can surmise, this was a major shock,
(12/21 18:15:25) DimensionTravelerCalum: Good Ol' lexie was the source of funding for the DRC,
(12/21 18:15:37) DimensionTravelerCalum: and her abbrupt departure also ment the loss of said funding.
(12/21 18:15:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: We were at a loss.
(12/21 18:15:54) DimensionTravelerCalum: Honnestly, nobody knew what to do.
(12/21 18:16:17) DimensionTravelerCalum: Sure, The DRC tried to keep up appearances by Announcing the release of Ahnonay later in the week,
(12/21 18:16:22) DimensionTravelerCalum: but, even they were at a loss.
(12/21 18:16:30) DimensionTravelerCalum: Cate's reasons for leaving?
(12/21 18:16:41) DimensionTravelerCalum: "I'm not getting the return on my investment" or something like that.
(12/21 18:16:47) DimensionTravelerCalum shakes his head.
(12/21 18:16:54) DimensionTravelerCalum: Ironic, actually,
(12/21 18:17:09) DimensionTravelerCalum: Cate had mentioned the week before that she would believe a Bahro war when she saw it.
(12/21 18:17:1Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: and now here she was leaving, no bahro war in sight.
(12/21 18:17:31) DimensionTravelerCalum: It was something, I'll say.
(12/21 18:17:37) DimensionTravelerCalum: Nobody knew what to do.
(12/21 18:17:45) DimensionTravelerCalum: Day Two, November Second,
(12/21 18:17:50) DimensionTravelerCalum: Ahnonay-ing Ahnonay!
(12/21 18:17:5Cool Carl Palmner starts to laugh
(12/21 18:18:06) Omen laughs
(12/21 18:18:12) DimensionTravelerCalum: That blasted age of Guild Master Kadish that tests our sanity every time we enter it
(12/21 18:18:43) DimensionTravelerCalum: Like all the other ages, there had been some changes caused by the Great Scream, and those had pushed back it's official

release.
(12/21 18:18:52) DimensionTravelerCalum: Structural issues, and what not.
(12/21 18:18:56) DimensionTravelerCalum: ^_6;
(12/21 18:19:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: erk, ^_^*
(12/21 18:19:02) DimensionTravelerCalum: stupid KIBoard.
(12/21 18:19:10) DimensionTravelerCalum: *sigh*
(12/21 18:19:16) DimensionTravelerCalum: okay, moving on.
(12/21 18:19:27) DimensionTravelerCalum: Marie was the only DRC member that we saw this day,
(12/21 18:19:52) DimensionTravelerCalum: and she was just as worried, confused, and ahnonayed as the rest of us at Cate's sudden departure.
(12/21 18:20:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: Nobody knew what to do, honnestly.
(12/21 18:20:23) DimensionTravelerCalum: it was the final days of the Previous Restoration all over again,
(12/21 18:20:2Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: only this time, it was slower,
(12/21 18:20:35) DimensionTravelerCalum: not as quick and sudden as it had been before.
(12/21 18:20:40) DimensionTravelerCalum: no quick plug pull,
(12/21 18:20:47) DimensionTravelerCalum: Just a slow, steady drain.
(12/21 18:21:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: i don't know where that metaphore came from, really
(12/21 18:21:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: That just seemed to fit, though.
(12/21 18:21:2Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: well, regardless,
(12/21 18:21:45) DimensionTravelerCalum: a lot of us had memorized the puzzles from the time before the second restoration started,
(12/21 18:21:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: And before the great scream changed everything.
(12/21 18:22:0Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: And, those of us who remembered breezed through the puzzles relatively easy.
(12/21 18:22:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: And then, just after midnight on November Third,
(12/21 18:22:23) DimensionTravelerCalum: We found the key.
(12/21 18:22:31) DimensionTravelerCalum: A Circle with an X in it,
(12/21 18:22:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: In the lower half of the Pelet Cave.
(12/21 18:22:50) DimensionTravelerCalum: We knew exactly what this was.
(12/21 18:23:09) Omen: what?
(12/21 18:23:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: And, those of you have your shirts like Mine and Carl can guess what it was too.
(12/21 18:23:36) DimensionTravelerCalum: we used this key, and we found a new location,
(12/21 18:23:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: The subject of our Field Trip:
(12/21 18:23:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: k'veer, isle home/prison of Atrus, Son of Ghen.
(12/21 18:24:24) DimensionTravelerCalum: and that's where we'll head to now.
(12/21 18:24:3Cool tommyap: now ok
(12/21 18:24:39) Carl Palmner: A reminder, for those who just came in
(12/21 18:24:40) DimensionTravelerCalum: just use your nexus's "City Links" terminal and select K'veer.
(12/21 18:24:44) Char Gearz: I'm in..and intrigued
(12/21 18:24:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: But,
(12/21 18:24:49) DimensionTravelerCalum: If you haven't gotten to K'veer
(12/21 18:24:51) Carl Palmner: If you don't have K'veer, stay here in this Bevin.
(12/21 18:24:56) DimensionTravelerCalum: Just stay here, and the chat will be relayed to you
(12/21 18:25:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: Just like the old days.
(12/21 18:25:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: So, i'll see you in K'veer
(12/21 18:25:10) Carl Palmner: And make sure to take the NEXUS link when you go to Kveer.
(12/21 18:25:11) Steve0504bu (I'm on the surface, be back in a minute):
(12/21 18:25:15) Carl Palmner: NOT the Book in your Relto.
(12/21 18:25:16) Omen (I'm on the surface, be back in a minute):
(12/21 18:25:16) Josie (I'm on the surface, be back in a minute):

<Explorers Link to K'veer>

(12/21 18:26:54) DimensionTravelerCalum: okay, now that Carl's here,
(12/21 18:26:57) DimensionTravelerCalum: I'll continue.
(12/21 18:27:06) Carl Palmner: Give it another minute or two
(12/21 18:27:11) Carl Palmner: There are still people Linking in I think
(12/21 18:27:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: okay, then,
(12/21 18:27:15) DimensionTravelerCalum: some fun facts,
(12/21 18:27:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: K'veer, asrepresented in Myst V, End of Ages,
(12/21 18:27:42) DimensionTravelerCalum: was the home of the Keep,
(12/21 18:27:53) DimensionTravelerCalum: the tablet's prison,
(12/21 18:28:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: the key to the bahro's freedom,
(12/21 18:28:07) tommyap: moment please some are still underway
(12/21 18:28:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: Watson was probably the first of all of us to find his way in here.
(12/21 18:28:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: well, anyways, right where the link in spot is,
(12/21 18:28:3Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: that was where the Keep stood.
(12/21 18:28:47) Josie nods her head
(12/21 18:28:49) DimensionTravelerCalum: atleast, according to the game,
(12/21 18:29:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: many of us assumed that the Bahro would avoid K'veer, should a conflict arise,
(12/21 18:29:09) DimensionTravelerCalum: and boy howdy, did it.
(12/21 18:29:09) Carl Palmner: I think everyone who is coming is probably here now.
(12/21 18:29:19) tommyap: nope
(12/21 18:29:25) DimensionTravelerCalum: You see the arch out there?
(12/21 18:29:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: Kerath's Arch, the very same one infront of Ae'gura's docks.
(12/21 18:29:51) tommyap: last one city use arrow to scroll
(12/21 18:30:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: well, at this distance,
(12/21 18:30:20) tommyap: sorry for that
(12/21 18:30:23) DimensionTravelerCalum: nobody could tell it, but there were bahro swarming that arch.
(12/21 18:30:43) DimensionTravelerCalum: and so, when reports of bahro in Ae'gura appearedd, flooding in from the city.
(12/21 18:30:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: we were shocked and confused.
(12/21 18:30:5Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: something, allright.
(12/21 18:31:05) DimensionTravelerCalum: this is why me and Carl are wearing our Journey shirts,
(12/21 18:31:20) DimensionTravelerCalum: December third, The Bahro War arrived.
(12/21 18:31:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: Destruction was here, They were here,
(12/21 18:31:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: and now, the dream prohphacy was being fullfilled
(12/21 18:31:50) DimensionTravelerCalum: it was a night mare,
(12/21 18:31:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: I still shudder at the thought of the sight, and the sounds.
(12/21 18:32:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: the bahro were everywhere.
(12/21 18:32:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: and I mean everywhere.
(12/21 18:32:15) DimensionTravelerCalum: not just the main city instance.
(12/21 18:32:26) DimensionTravelerCalum: they were in our private hood instances as well.
(12/21 18:32:33) DimensionTravelerCalum: they were fighting everywhere.
(12/21 18:32:47) DimensionTravelerCalum: scary thought, isn';t it?
(12/21 18:33:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: bahro, creatures that could link, being everywhere at once?
(12/21 18:33:15) DimensionTravelerCalum: That wasn't the ful impact of it, either.
(12/21 18:33:26) DimensionTravelerCalum: the bahro weren't of one side,
(12/21 18:33:32) DimensionTravelerCalum: they were both,
(12/21 18:33:40) DimensionTravelerCalum: duking it out, fighting, killing, screaming,
(12/21 18:33:47) DimensionTravelerCalum: it was chaos.
(12/21 18:34:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: and, although this wasn't widly confirmed,
(12/21 18:34:09) DimensionTravelerCalum: a few of us saw a form standing ontop of the arch,
(12/21 18:34:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: right below the light,
(12/21 18:34:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: make of it what you will, but there was something up there, moving.
(12/21 18:34:43) DimensionTravelerCalum: I wasn't sure what to make of it, at the time,
(12/21 18:34:55) DimensionTravelerCalum: but, considering all the mayhem and chaos around it,
(12/21 18:35:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: I think it's safe to guess what that form was.
(12/21 18:35:14) DimensionTravelerCalum: the very source of this conflict.
(12/21 18:35:1Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: well,
(12/21 18:35:22) DimensionTravelerCalum: yes, the very source.
(12/21 18:35:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: you've all heard the rumors,
(12/21 18:35:47) DimensionTravelerCalum: the tales, and the horrors that Esher in Myst V supposedly performed,
(12/21 18:36:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: even that he had a bahro skin cloth over his shoulder,
(12/21 18:36:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: a cloth that allowed him to link.
(12/21 18:36:1Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: Myst V was not false in those respects,
(12/21 18:36:2Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: Esher, the demnted, twisted, and evil man of Noloben,
(12/21 18:36:36) DimensionTravelerCalum: truely existed,
(12/21 18:36:45) DimensionTravelerCalum: and the bahro that he had cut that piece of skin from was mad.
(12/21 18:36:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: enraged.
(12/21 18:37:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: twisted beyond all hope of returning to any sane thinking.
(12/21 18:37:14) DimensionTravelerCalum: and he had gathered the others that thought like him,
(12/21 18:37:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: and he formed this other side,
(12/21 18:37:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: this... Twisted Fraction.
(12/21 18:37:46) DimensionTravelerCalum: We didn't need what happened next to drive this fact in,
(12/21 18:38:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: Phil henderson had appeared in A Beginner's Bevin (long since disestablished)
(12/21 18:38:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: and he was claiming this
(12/21 18:38:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: "They are comming"
(12/21 18:38:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: No.
(12/21 18:38:23) DimensionTravelerCalum: "They are here."
(12/21 18:38:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: So, this was Yeesha's dream, was it not? the one that called us all here?
(12/21 18:39:09) DimensionTravelerCalum: the DRC were at as much of a loss as we were,
(12/21 18:39:1Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: and Kodama used this as an excuse to leave.
(12/21 18:39:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: up to the surface he went, and, secretly, off to find more funding for the cavern.
(12/21 18:39:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: November Fourth,
(12/21 18:40:03) DimensionTravelerCalum: Day Four of Exodus.
(12/21 18:40:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: *sigh*
(12/21 18:40:24) DimensionTravelerCalum: The bahro were still swarming, still fighting,
(12/21 18:40:49) DimensionTravelerCalum: to maintain a sense of Normality,
(12/21 18:41:03) DimensionTravelerCalum: the DRC had announced the winners of the Great Zero Stained Glass,
(12/21 18:41:25) DimensionTravelerCalum: those three distinct designs for the GZ book.
(12/21 18:41:33) DimensionTravelerCalum: Normality, however,
(12/21 18:41:3Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: was an understatement
(12/21 18:41:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: Ae'gura was a massive mad house,
(12/21 18:41:55) DimensionTravelerCalum: even in instances,
(12/21 18:42:03) DimensionTravelerCalum: bahro were divebombing the city,
(12/21 18:42:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: prowling the streets,
(12/21 18:42:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: they'd escalated from swarming to random encounters.
(12/21 18:42:36) DimensionTravelerCalum: Never before or since,
(12/21 18:42:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: have I seen so many explorers wearing their journey shirts.
(12/21 18:43:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: we all had these burlap cloth pieces on us,
(12/21 18:43:10) DimensionTravelerCalum: itchy as they are,
(12/21 18:43:15) DimensionTravelerCalum: and we were showing our support,
(12/21 18:43:20) DimensionTravelerCalum: for the Bahro, and Yeesha, and for good.
(12/21 18:43:26) DimensionTravelerCalum: for Harmony and Balance.
(12/21 18:43:50) DimensionTravelerCalum: We wore our shirts for Yeesha, for what she stood for and represented,
(12/21 18:44:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: all in the hopes that she would see, and do something,
(12/21 18:44:10) DimensionTravelerCalum: and do something she did.
(12/21 18:44:24) DimensionTravelerCalum: Day Five,
(12/21 18:44:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: November Fifth.
(12/21 18:44:35) DimensionTravelerCalum: a Bahro appeared outside that window.
(12/21 18:44:3Cool DimensionTravelerCalum points
(12/21 18:44:41) DimensionTravelerCalum: right on the ledge
(12/21 18:44:50) DimensionTravelerCalum: quite funny, actually
(12/21 18:45:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: there's nothing out there for it to stand on, not that we can see, atleast,
(12/21 18:45:03) DimensionTravelerCalum: but there it was,
(12/21 18:45:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: just peering in,
((12/21 18:45:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: we were being watched.
(12/21 18:45:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: and then, it began teleporting.
(12/21 18:45:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: It was next spotted inside the prison chamber,
(12/21 18:45:41) DimensionTravelerCalum: via the doorway over there
(12/21 18:46:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: and then, it summoned the book stand in the middle of the room,
(12/21 18:46:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: and placed the Myst Linking book firmly upon it.
(12/21 18:46:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: Sadly, I was on the surface for what happened next,
(12/21 18:46:41) DimensionTravelerCalum: Two more bahro appeared, and then, along with them,
(12/21 18:46:49) DimensionTravelerCalum: came a woman with red hair and blue eyes.
(12/21 18:47:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: the tatoo over her eye made it clear who she was, the very clothes she wore were the same as the hologram we've all seen in

the Cleft.
(12/21 18:47:2Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: it was Yeesha.
(12/21 18:47:57) DimensionTravelerCalum: I'll quote what I think is relevant from what she said, and paraphrase the rest.
(12/21 18:48:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: "Destruction is almost upon us
(12/21 18:48:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: "They are here
(12/21 18:48:10) DimensionTravelerCalum: "Fighting in war."
(12/21 18:48:32) DimensionTravelerCalum: The Bahro had been freed by the tablet, and most of them had sided with good, with us, and Yeesha,
(12/21 18:48:39) DimensionTravelerCalum: and with the D'ni.
(12/21 18:48:46) DimensionTravelerCalum: And they were fighting,
(12/21 18:48:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: for us,
(12/21 18:48:53) DimensionTravelerCalum: Sacrificing everything they had,
(12/21 18:48:54) DimensionTravelerCalum: for us,
(12/21 18:48:5Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: for our "Peace"
(12/21 18:49:02) DimensionTravelerCalum: for our "Comfort"
(12/21 18:49:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: There was a side who had not siuded with us, the D'ni, or "Good"
(12/21 18:49:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: They had chosen Evil, and they basked int he oppoertunity that came with their freedo,
(12/21 18:49:41) DimensionTravelerCalum: "Revenge is their only excuse"
(12/21 18:49:53) DimensionTravelerCalum: Yeesha pointed to her left shoulder, and explained
(12/21 18:50:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: "Their leader can be seen clearly. He is missing a large patch of skin"
(12/21 18:50:25) DimensionTravelerCalum: taken in the "torturous lab of Esher"
(12/21 18:50:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: "Because of that", she said, "I will draw them away
(12/21 18:50:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: "Away from the cavern
(12/21 18:50:55) DimensionTravelerCalum: "Away from you"
(12/21 18:51:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: She had something they wanted,
(12/21 18:51:17) DimensionTravelerCalum: some asumed the piece of skin that Esher had carved off of the leader of this Dark side of the Bahro,
(12/21 18:51:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: Others, due to the sayings in Watcher's Words, assumed that she was pregnant,
(12/21 18:51:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: "I do not know how long they will seek what I carry.
(12/21 18:51:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: "It could only be days, it could be months.
(12/21 18:52:05) DimensionTravelerCalum: "Destruction is coming.
(12/21 18:52:09) DimensionTravelerCalum: "It is almost here.
(12/21 18:52:22) DimensionTravelerCalum: "I will delay it as long as I can, but, in the meantime, you must find a way
(12/21 18:52:32) DimensionTravelerCalum: "You must find a home."
(12/21 18:52:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: She promised to return in the furure, and, if things went well,
(12/21 18:52:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: she would offer her aid,
(12/21 18:52:56) DimensionTravelerCalum: but, if things didn't...
(12/21 18:52:57) DimensionTravelerCalum: well...
(12/21 18:53:03) DimensionTravelerCalum: You get the picture.
(12/21 18:53:16) DimensionTravelerCalum: Regardless, She said, we had to be ready for her return,
(12/21 18:53:30) DimensionTravelerCalum: Destruction was comming no matter what, and when it arrived, we must have found our, way,
(12/21 18:53:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: we MUST have found our Home.
(12/21 18:53:3Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: With that, she left,
(12/21 18:53:45) DimensionTravelerCalum: and, almost instantly,
(12/21 18:53:52) DimensionTravelerCalum: so did the Bahro around Kerath's arch.
(12/21 18:54:03) DimensionTravelerCalum: all of them following her for various reasons,
(12/21 18:54:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: some for her protection,
(12/21 18:54:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: others seeking what she carried.
(12/21 18:54:23) DimensionTravelerCalum: And, that night,
(12/21 18:54:30) DimensionTravelerCalum: we recieved a KI Mail from the DRC,
(12/21 18:54:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: Marie and Laxman were gone,
(12/21 18:54:37) DimensionTravelerCalum: for the surface,
(12/21 18:54:46) DimensionTravelerCalum: they were joining Kodama in his search for new funding,
(12/21 18:55:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: the next day, Sharper announced that he was heading to the surface too,
(12/21 18:55:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: and, suddenly,
(12/21 18:55:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: we found ourselves alone.
(12/21 18:55:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: And now, We'll head back to Carl Palmner's bevin,
(12/21 18:55:31) DimensionTravelerCalum: where he'll summarize what happened in the final days,
(12/21 18:55:43) DimensionTravelerCalum: if you'd like to read a slightly, Fuller, accound of things,
(12/21 18:55:46) Musica claps her hands
(12/21 18:55:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: look up Carl's Fictionalization of the events
(12/21 18:55:51) Omen claps his hands
(12/21 18:55:55) DimensionTravelerCalum: "Alone or Together"
(12/21 18:55:59) Carl Palmner: I'll finish us up, back in Carl Palmner's Bevin
(12/21 18:56:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: you can find it on the URU Obsession Forums. Smile

<Explorers return to Carl Palmner's Bevin>

(12/21 18:56:39) Polgara: they come back now - sorry that I could not follow completely was too fast
(12/21 18:57:0Cool Carl Palmner: Whew.
(12/21 18:57:11) GracelenRose: Polgara...you did awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(12/21 18:57:22) Carl Palmner: It actually felt kind of scary being back there, as Cal talked about that stuff
(12/21 18:57:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: Welcome back everyone. Smile
(12/21 18:57:30) Polgara: Did my very best
(12/21 18:57:39) Carl Palmner: I felt like the Bahro were attacking me all over again.
(12/21 18:57:45) DimensionTravelerCalum: Scary, Carl? really?
(12/21 18:57:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: sorry, didn't mean to be that vibrant...
(12/21 18:57:54) Carl Palmner: Smile
(12/21 18:58:05) Carl Palmner: Like Cal, I unforutunately missed Yeesha's visit.
(12/21 18:58:22) Carl Palmner: I heard about it from my friend Jazz later that day.
(12/21 18:58:46) DimensionTravelerCalum: I think, actually, I'd missed her by 10 minutes
(12/21 18:59:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: 'cause, I had to leave for something, and, she appeared almost...
(12/21 18:59:05) DimensionTravelerCalum: Right about now, I think.
(12/21 18:59:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: 5 Oclock Mountain Time.
(12/21 18:59:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: *shrug*
(12/21 18:59:22) Carl Palmner: I was there when the Bahro brought the Myst Book
(12/21 18:59:31) Carl Palmner: I remember being horribly frightened--thought it might be a hostile one.
(12/21 18:59:46) Carl Palmner: All right, looks like everyone is here so I'll conclude our presentation.
(12/21 18:59:56) DimensionTravelerCalum: Smile
(12/21 19:00:05) DimensionTravelerCalum: Go ahead Carl, Chat Log's still running.
(12/21 19:00:05) Carl Palmner: In the months that followed what I've come to call the "Day of Yeesha"...
(12/21 19:00:14) Carl Palmner: The DRC did not return.
(12/21 19:00:2Cool Carl Palmner: We learned through other sources that Cate was not the only investor to cease funding.
(12/21 19:00:4Cool Carl Palmner: Gametap, the other major investor, was pulling the plug as well.
(12/21 19:01:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: Turner had internal problems, however,
(12/21 19:01:01) Carl Palmner: (Why a computer game company was funding the exploration at all, I'll never know...)
(12/21 19:01:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: We tend not to blame them.
(12/21 19:01:12) Carl Palmner: Agreed.
(12/21 19:01:20) DimensionTravelerCalum: cate however,...
(12/21 19:01:26) DimensionTravelerCalum is a bit upset...
(12/21 19:01:3Cool Carl Palmner: At any rate, we all remained in the cavern for a little while.
(12/21 19:01:50) Carl Palmner: In fact, I don't think the last explorer left until sometime in April.
(12/21 19:02:06) Carl Palmner: I, however, left as soon as I learned the project was being ended.
(12/21 19:02:0Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: It depended on the time zones, either april 9th or 10th.
(12/21 19:02:22) Carl Palmner: Somehow I couldn't bear coming here, knowing it was all going to be taken away.
(12/21 19:02:3Cool Carl Palmner: One by one, we made our Exodus back to the surface, back to our jobs and school and families
(12/21 19:02:41) Carl Palmner: Back to our lives.
(12/21 19:02:4Cool Carl Palmner: But we never forgot the cavern.
(12/21 19:03:10) Carl Palmner: And in February of this last year, for seemingly no reason at all, numbers in the cavern began to climb again.
(12/21 19:03:22) DimensionTravelerCalum: Actually, Carl, there is a reason for that.
(12/21 19:03:27) Carl Palmner: Now there are many who once again call this place home.
(12/21 19:03:31) DimensionTravelerCalum: watson broke a seal or something, tripped a sensor,
(12/21 19:03:37) Carl Palmner: (Shh Cal)
(12/21 19:03:40) DimensionTravelerCalum: (XP)
(12/21 19:04:07) Carl Palmner: It is strange that so many should hear the Call, with Bahro now freed and Yeesha gone, and yet, here we are.
(12/21 19:04:10) Char Gearz: Handyman Henry flipped a switch
(12/21 19:04:10) Carl Palmner: This is not a Restoration.
(12/21 19:04:24) Carl Palmner: But it IS a Great Uru--the Third Great Uru.
(12/21 19:04:53) Carl Palmner: We've told you this story because we want you to understand your situation.
(12/21 19:05:00) Carl Palmner: Yeesha is gone, but not for good.
(12/21 19:05:05) Carl Palmner: The Bahro are gone, but not for good.
(12/21 19:05:12) Carl Palmner: Destruction has not been stopped, but delayed.
(12/21 19:05:29) Carl Palmner: Because you see, although the rest of his data was accurate, I believe Cal made one small mistake in his presentation.
(12/21 19:05:35) Carl Palmner: (Although it could be me that is wrong).
(12/21 19:05:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: (*shrug* nobody's perfect)
(12/21 19:05:46) Carl Palmner: He said that the Bahro protecting us were the bigger side.
(12/21 19:05:55) DimensionTravelerCalum: Erm, That was in Yeesha's speech
(12/21 19:06:12) Carl Palmner: But according to Sharper, Watson, and Phil, they were also the LOSING side.
(12/21 19:06:19) Char Gearz: so is that the presentation?
(12/21 19:06:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: so, maybe the chatlog was wrong?
(12/21 19:06:50) Carl Palmner: Perhaps--at any rate, it is safe to say that regardless of numbers, the hostile Bahro are far stronger than the friendly ones.
(12/21 19:06:5Cool Char Gearz: delaying Destruction..lol
(12/21 19:07:06) Carl Palmner: I have said before that any Bahro you may encounter here are probably friendly, and now you know why.
(12/21 19:07:17) Char Gearz: stoplog..lol
(12/21 19:07:1Cool Carl Palmner: Someday, the hostile ones wil return.
(12/21 19:07:27) Carl Palmner: Watson told us what to do when that happened.
(12/21 19:07:30) Carl Palmner: Do you remember?
(12/21 19:07:3Cool Char Gearz: oh my
(12/21 19:07:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: Find a way. Make a Home.
(12/21 19:07:46) DimensionTravelerCalum: right?
(12/21 19:07:52) Carl Palmner: He told us that we would need to find some method of stopping the hostile Bahro.
(12/21 19:07:53) guillaume leray (I'm on the surface, be back in a minute):
(12/21 19:08:02) Carl Palmner: He told us that we would need to find something to end their war.
(12/21 19:08:10) DimensionTravelerCalum: Ah, right.
(12/21 19:08:12) Carl Palmner: That's why it's so important that we continue to Write and explore NEW Ages.
(12/21 19:08:24) Carl Palmner: And that's why we need to work in the Guilds to prepare for the Bahro's return.
(12/21 19:08:25) Char Gearz: now its an argument
(12/21 19:08:46) Carl Palmner: Your coming here is not without purpose.
(12/21 19:08:59) Carl Palmner: No Great Uru just "happens". There is always a reason.
(12/21 19:09:05) Carl Palmner: We are those who must prepare.
(12/21 19:09:0Cool Carl Palmner: So find a way.
(12/21 19:09:10) Carl Palmner: Make a home.
(12/21 19:09:13) Carl Palmner: This is our heritage.
(12/21 19:09:19) Carl Palmner bows

(12/21 19:09:35) BIG thumbs up from tommyap
(12/21 19:09:36) Carl Palmner: We'll open the time now for questions, and I'll pass out the Marker game.
(12/21 19:09:36) ID7 claps his hands
(12/21 19:09:40) Musica cheers
(12/21 19:09:46) Polgara cheers
(12/21 19:09:53) DimensionTravelerCalum: So, who has questions?
(12/21 19:10:00) Gahlen wants to ask a question...
(12/21 19:10:03) Cadina: I have one
(12/21 19:10:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: Gahlen, Okay!
(12/21 19:10:13) ...Chat.log stopped.

Excellent! I'm in the process of editing the log. I'm hoping to get it up before I leave for Christmas.

Edit: The edited version is in The Heritage Documents now. Very nice finale and tie back to where we are now!
