I just realized that there is one Relto page that also links you somewhere else...I thought Relto pages only were 'reward' pages to modify your Relto?

Oh, the first page with the linking panel? I guess so, but that's not one of the pages referred to as a "Relto Page". It can't be collected or turned off.

maybe he means the rare "Linking book to great awesome and ancient Age" Page. I heard Yeesha found that tucked away in a copy of Words and modified it. Laughing sorry, couldn't resist.

Poke, next time... try to resist Wink

using the relto book as an access to relto is far too obvious a feature to have *just* noticed this. despite the fact that the linking panel is not a relto page any more than any of the other linking panels in any other book are.

i think the OP's talking about the pillar page found in the cleft. in which case it does exhibit linking properties not seen in any other relto page. offline, it was the relto book that was found in its place. online i don't remember our avatar's ever adding it to the book *then* using the *book* to link to relto. i think i recall the page beaming us back up directly.

the book vault/pillar page is the only mandatory relto page. it can be turned on and off. the cleft book vault appears when that page is deactivated.

Here is what I'm referring to:

Then this is available:

This is what I get in Relto:

However I am able to toggle the Relto page
;

And this happens:

I'm able to collect it and use it..so to speak

My understanding is that it's not the Relto page that links you, it's Yeesha.

Then again, in the offline version, it's not the Relto page or Yeesha, it's the Relto book itself Smile

The simplest explanation is that it's a visual abridging of events for your convenience. In the offline version there is (AFAIK) no pillars page, and no cleft pillar. You start in the cleft and receive your Relto book in the spot where the page is (getting a nice scene of clipping it to your belt before using it the first time). For the online version, Cyan chose to stat you off already on Relto, book at the ready. That way you can choose to skip the "tutorial level" and dive right in to the city/community aspect of the game as you choose. So, essentially you're losing a bit of consistency to make the game fun for a wider audience.

Sorry. My soda hadn't fully kicked in. XD
I edited it right away, but apparently it wasn't fast enough.

Or maybe a friendly/rogue(lol) Bahro (the least?) from the Entrance Caves (Gahreesen, Teledahn, Eder Kemo/Gira, Kadish, Delin, Tsogahl) once you wander down so far?

I think you are right. You can hear a Bahro screaming loudly when you pick up that page. And unlike the offline version when the avatar links you do not see it grab for the Relto book (which by then contains the page).

When MOUL was first opened, I thought it would be a nice touch if that page was added automatically like the other Relto pages, then show the avvie annimation of using the book to get back to Relto. I felt that would give good continuity.
