Ok, i'll take a risk and post my news.
I have permission from Cyan to make the app, but i can't give more specifics because i don't have any and i'm not allowed to share them if i did. :P
(although i will say my permission comes directly from Fryman, head of legal)

Alright, well that's great to hear!

On a side note, I was discussing editing Apache files with a friend and I was poking around the Aptana site and saw that they were bought out from somebody who makes an app creation platform for native iOS and Android apps.

http://www.appcelerator.com/products/ti ... velopment/

It's seems to be the end all solution for the ideas we've been tossing around. It supports HTML5, CSS3, local storage, multiple platforms (natively), and allows you to augment the cross platform data with platform specific code (eg add some objective C to your iOS side).

So I decided to play with Titanium for a bit and I made this little sample doohickey here:

http://cl.ly/420R2Y3t0v271D3s0r2j

Unzip it and import the project into Titanium so you can build it.

It doesn't do much, but it really only took me a few minutes to make. I'll hopefully have time to explore some fancier things as time permits.

So, I've made a KI clock, however I can't get it to live update, so that's what I'm working on now.

After I get that worked out, I'm going to work out how to adjust the DST information.

EDIT: So even OHB couldn't figure out how to get the time to update. I have one last idea I'm planning to try. When I try it is a mystery.

You mean work as in ready for release? WOW! In other news, Cyan apparently made their own icon for this site. On iOS devices hit "Add to Home Screen" and then you'll see the Myst Online icon. Beautiful really, looks nice with my other Myst apps.

Well... no... it pretty much only displays a time and that's it. There's still a lot to be done :P

Plus, it only seems to work on iOS at the moment...

I just see that you're all loving clocks lol... :P

Yesterday, when I was looking for fyxa for some d'ni timekeeping, calendar and numerals stuff
I found a neat little d'ni deskop clock... Not only will some of you maybe like this one and you'll
have it available within minutes from reading this, but the page I'll post also offers the source files,
which anyone of you could find to be useful to look into for furher developments or make an analog
clock or something ...

You can download it from this site, where the 'Download D'ni Desk Clock Binaries' link is the clock
and the other one the source archive... The clock app only contains a dll and an ini file, which tells
the program where the dll is located...
Image
and you can toggle to D'ni
Image
For the d'ni-ish appearance to work you must have Jehon's D'ni Script installed, which you
can download here... Enjoy... :D
