/ghaelen takes off her Guild of Healers' hat to reveal a CCN "Special Correspondent" hat.

"aherm...."

Shorah, fellow explorers! Cavern Communications Network is proud to present a new dramatic yet stable and soundly researched Docu.mentary from Ruby O'Degee.

>>Ruby O'Degee loses her mind, her title, her position and her office KI. During her wanderings and wonderings she comes upon a path less traveled (or in this case, a tunnel less traveled). There she finds an answer and a new mystery. There she faces new challenges. Join Ruby as she discovers a New Truth about an Old Age and returns to tell about it.<<

"The Teledahn Connection"

This is the first in a loooong series of documentally dramatic dramas from Ruby involving massive amounts of research and interpretive creativity. The player will automatically move from one episode to the next. You can also press a button to move more quickly to the next episode. This will not work, however, unless there is another episode to move to. If the episode does not change to the next, it is a sign that there is not yet a new episode to move forward to. Please be patient, although you are free to continue pressing and pressing. Why, Ruby did the same after she hadlost her KIcodes....

Well, that was interesting... but it seems to be incomplete. Part 3's content ends at about 8 minutes, leaving 6 more minutes of blank screen... And I see I'm being blamed for something in the credits, but there's no sign of me in the production. If this is a blatant attempt to trade off of my good name, I'll send my legal advisor Stephano to have some words with Ms. O'Degee.

Yes, I see my name bandied about as well, although I also understand the reason.

/ghaelen tries to enlarge the fine print in the original post, but fails as she is too distracted by the sight of LC pressing and pressing and pressing the 'forward' button.

She does not giggle.

I appreciate your concern about the 6 minutes of blank screen - technical snafu to be fixed later (once I run the durn thing back through the machineoblabotachmeter). Part 3 will then be 8 minutes, minus the blank/black screen. Decision made by Circumlocution director of Part Lengths.

I hesitate to comment about the good name in the credit, but no-see-um LC. This a 6 part documentary, done in 6 parts. It was five, but some the "experts" were so long winded, it grew to 6 from the previously anticipated and scripted 5 (some of the experts decided to ad-lib as you very well know - ahem *cough).

Your part is coming up soon. So let Stephano know that he can keep his legal paperwork at the ready, but not to launch his legal ramblings yet. I expect any number of quagmires to come about, once all the parts are distributed. Stephano will likely need to stand in line, but we can keep him comfortable with bench seating, kirel baked treats and tea. Oh and please ask Stephano to send in his writs on clay tablets. Madge is collecting them or future shows she is planning to do with Mr. Tyion.

BTW: Mr. Matt R. Dutton has already informed me that he plans to sue. I wasn't supposed to render the parts about his day trading and ponzie schemes. Oh wellsie, too late now.

EDIT and or/after thought - Another small please for Stephano - be sure he doesn't plan to throw those tablets at us. He is to send them - parcel post. Neither is he to bury us in them - one more time- Stephano is to send the clay tablets.

How can Stephano send the tablets partial post? Don't you want them complete?

And thank you for the six-part explanation. There's no hint on the distribution site (which is obnoxious, ugly and covered with ads, by the way) of more parts to come. I eagerly (?) await further exposition. I used to send boxes of stationery supplies to various offices... if their order had something added onto it, they could get something like "Box #6 of 4".

Oh, and tell the producer that running 1:45 of leader on an 8-minute video is kind of front-end heavy... but Ruby is a good runner.

1. you are welcome.
2. tablets are ok whole or in parts
3. the CCN promo is being changed - that was a mere sample - that did not include the entirety of the staff, it now does.
4. All of the parts will be reviewed and later edited for posterity.
5. The leader and th follower will not be changed.
6. Madge got her chance to interpret and explain the entire documentary.

I think your part comes up tomorrow night. Saving the best for last:)

I know. Madge was never happy being a pooch. She much prefers to hang out around the cavern. Now she is talking about heading back over to the DRC forum to see what kind of mischief she can get into.

My theory is that her faulty wiring would eventually fall apart, but she wires herself back together. Either that or someone else is doing her repair work. Sounds like a conspiracy to me.

What have I gotten into? It's kind of like walking through a marsh. Don't look at your legs because you'll be frightened by what's sticking to them...

The Cavern may be brighter now, but that enlightening video series has greatly thickened the murk surrounding... just about everything. I think I'll go for a walk.

ONOES! Leeches! Spores! Silt!

Who says a film can't go through a remake immediately after a make? There were a number of so-so reviews that mentioned length of Ruby's babbling and length in general. After being promise reimbursement for an editing machine, I decided to put the entire series of parts through the cutting instrument. Most of what landed on the floor was chatter. The good stuff was left in, and CCN colleagues - "no worries" - only Ruby's or Mr. Underground's speeches were lost to the scissors.

If you would like to take a commercial free looksee go here http://ccndesert.blogspot.com/

Next on the schedule _ poviding the world is not ended Wink Shocked _ is Murder on the Er'canna Express. For this film being produced by Veralun there will be open casting calls.

Thank you, Ruby.

The story is still incomprehensible, but it has tightened up considerably and no longer does a viewer have to put up with the endless advertising distractions. Of course... some might have preferred the distractions...

"Murder on the Er'cana Express?" You do know that express service was discontinued on that line due to a sticky switch?

I haven't seen an "oh dear the world is ending" conspiracy story that is comprehensibile. Still I stand by mine. I have no idea whether Mr. Ratchett will turn up to pay for his end of the no advertising bargain.

I wonder if the sticky switch has anything to do with a dead body, as in laying or stretched over the switch. <leaves to look again for a certain Mr. Ratchett>.

Mr Ratchett... would that be Mr Snappon Ratchett, inventor of the left-handed number 9 turnout system?

I am beginning to see tire marks in the sand. In other words I am entertaining the notion Teledahn may be an age after all. I admit its an age, but there is a connection of another kind between what went on there, historically and more recently with a ranch found 3 miles or so from the desert gate.

Due to the shifting sands I don't always see the path easily. I've jumped the fence many times only to find myself wandering about in circles. Yesterday I got lucky. A wind gush blew the sand away from the tire truck evidence I was looking to find. I following the truck or jeep path to the Diego Estate. I had not been there since the spring of 2006. I recognized it clearly, but the place that once sat next to a large spring fed reservoir on one side and sandy hills on the other, is now surrounded by water - flooded out. The transportation system is still functioning, sort of and the big house is high and dry, but the environ is abandoned. Mrs. Diego, her two cowboy assistants and the "staff" are gone. I only met the house staff in 2006. The worker premises were hid by sandy knolls. Now I see what Mrs. Diego did not want me to see. Teledahn lives where history repeats itself.

I won't be able to get back out there for awhile. I am too busy scripting Murder on the Er'canna Express. Maybe by the time I do get out there, the water will be receded a bit. I wonder what caused the massive flooding? I know it wasn't hard rains - something more nefarious is my guess - something messed up by water diversion projects.

LC, I don't think its so incomprehensible anymore.
