I am a bit confused as to how to import the certificate into Mercurial. I do not see any option regarding that in the Hg Workbench. Help?

EDIT: Got it. Had to create a repo first then sync.

Is there any plans to get the actual stuff for avatar models etc like the skeletons and so on for all the extra stuff? Or is it just going to be bypassed in part now by adding in a new method to load models/animations/accessories/etc? Or can it now fully be decompiled and reverse-engineered seeing how the client looks it up?

Without having gone there, from what I'd heard it was just client/plugin source, but none of the actual Cyan work like ages/sounds/textures/models/animations/etc even when required...

Will this help non-techies in the act of age, clothing, yeesha page etc, creation? I'm guessing no.
And can the techies (technically, possibly, willingly) create a program or other easy way for the creation of clothing designs, at leas importation of images and patterns for shirts? I realize these may need approval once created.

A fantastic day for Uru! All that technical talk over on the wiki made my head hurt, but from what I was able to gather by my incredible powers of intelectual osmosis is that Cyan now has the ablility to clone dinosaurs from ancient DNA and is currently looking for a site to open a theme park. Also, something about a flux capasitor.

Seriously though, congratuations to everyone who worked so hard to make this happen. You are most definately appreciated.

yeah, it would be nice if there was a way for non technically inclined individuals to contribute *quality* content. the prob with that is, more joe blows contributing lack luster content instead of those who have known what they're doing for a while.

while i have no expertise in code/3D art, i will miss contributing to OS. imo, quality control should be top prioirty. quality that's up to Cyan standards or better. i also hope there is a way for fan content to be implimented that doesn't seperate explorers.

You beat me to the question, poke I know it may be an in the future thing, but playing with textures and clothing is really one of my favorite things to do. I couldn't write an age to save my life.

This has also been a question in my mind, and basically what you are asking for is an URU version of Sims 3.
Before I get flooded with comments along the lines of "How dare you compare the quality that is URU to the trash that is Sims 3", all I am saying is that Sims 3 has very easy to use tools that enable those with no skill with 3D modelling programs to make worlds, clothing textures and buildings.
