Clear your downloads folder of anything you don't use anymore. At least I tend to download stuff and look at it maybe once and then forget about or don't need it anymore. After a while the folder can get kinda big so I regularly clean it out. Moving the Downloads folder, or your user files (Documents etc.) to another partition , can help too. Actually putting as much as possible on a different partition , or a external hard disk helps >.>

Having more then 100GB space may sound like a lot but since every program etc. takes up more space too it fills rather fast.

Norton Security Suite deletes a downloaded temp file as being "too new and too few" and kills the update. Turn off your antivirus autoprotect temporarily to let the patcher run.

Specific error (from Win7 x64, Norton security suite 4):
urue9c4.tmp
A program was behaving suspiciously on your computer
You chose to block and remove it

Details
Very Few Users, Risk High

Which is why I bought myself a 2 TB external hard drive. That really helped clear some space!

Both Vista and Win7 are very unforgiving about running programs from the Program Files directory. (It's a file permission/security thingy.) Simplest solution is to install Uru in any other directory that you create.

If you have an anti-virus software that's complaining about the file, don't just shut it off, do something about it! I hate people that just shut it off and move on.

I'm not at my PC right now and I'd normally submit a report myself but, for somebody else who can, here's the link to submit the false positive to Symantec/Norton: https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/

hi

Anyway, a security software (that i saw mentioned here) which deletes files without asking AND without warning, is really not something to use (I already saw it do this on computers).

This is so strange... An anti-virus program that worked as designed and configured by me to do exactly what it did, notified me immediately, gave me the option to recover the file and run it anyway, can cause so much grief for other people. For the purpose of loading the update, turning off the virus checker is perfectly valid. Many vendors instruct you to turn it off when installing or updating their apps.

As far as reporting it, why does anyone assume that I didn't? As to that, a report on a file that has been detected less than ten times from a user and not the application developer carries no weight whatsoever with Symantec. Cyan would have to beat on them before they would listen. OHB had the same problem with BabelBot.

Sorry, I'm not getting how to get around this. I get the same message -- what do I do to get in?

edit: okay, I think I've got it. Maybe. Boy, this is a long download! And I'm on broadband!
