I was so excited that Uru Live was coming back when i went to the site, but, when i went to gametaps site, i found out when i tried to get the software it said: "Sorry gametap is only available in the U.S. you might want to go back to www.gametap.com" I was so pissed that moment!
i mean "Why?"is the big question. Why aren't people who live elsewhere áloud'to play Uru Live beta.
Unless it isn't joining their Data base (software) I hope this will be solved soon so everyone around th globe can enjoy Uru Live and not just the U.S.

Cyan has said that they will somehow allow international users. I don't think they've said how yet, but I'm sure you can trust them.

Hope they eventually will ditch the "sorry Gametap is only aloud in the U.s." line on their site so anyone can enjoy the Uru live beta

Here's a short list of what we know:

1. Yes, GameTap is US-only. BUT:
2. YES, Uru Live will be available worldwide.
3. Uru Live will exist in its own space for international subscribers, separate from GameTap.
4. Uru Live will be available to everyone the day it opens.
5. Uru Live Beta has not yet started.
6. Uru Live Beta is expected sometime this summer. (US - June to September)
7. Uru Live is expected to open by "the holidays." (US - Thanksgiving to New Year's)
8. Uru Live will be $9.95 per month whether directly or through GameTap.
9. Uru Live international access details have not yet been established.

Just to make sure, do you have to pay $10 as a US member for both gametap /and/ Uru live? (IE: $20 total), or just $10 for Live/Gamestop as a whole?(Which is a great value)

For people who pay for the $10 membership for GameTap, they will get access to URU Live with their membership. For those of us who aren't able to access GameTap because we live outside the U.S. we'll pay $10 and be able to access URU Live. That's my understanding of it, from the conversations I've read about it.

i was just about to post something about dutch people not being able to play URU live with gametap, but this being available to the rest of the world besides just america is a great relief.
