Ok, did anybody else see this?

I was in the Funhouse (and, off topic, what's that camera doing there?), and I went up to the balcony with the telescope, when I looked out onto the lake and saw a boat shaped shadow floating down the lake! I tried to grab a shot of it, but my KI told me I was full, and so, I was too late to catch it! What was that thing?! Did anybody else see that?

I've seen the boat durring visits to the fun house as well. though i don't know it's origins or if it was ever used durring a live run of uru.

According to the game files, it's a fish or something like that. A very, very big fish. It used to swim around in previous incarnations, but I think in MOULagain it's disabled in most neighborhoods.

It's called a senomar, a whale-like creature living in the lake. There's an artist rendering of it in the back of the Prima Offical Game Guide to Uru CC. Sorry, I couldn't find the pic online or I would have posted a link to it. Tis an impressive beast, thought. Trust me.

It is a boat plus there is also a fish in the game files.

yes, there is both a fish and a boat. what i saw was distinctly a boat. the forecastle was quite apparent. i've seen the fish too. only in the funhouse though.

oh, and about the camera. that was spawned early in the funhouse's history and i guess they never got rid of it. from what i gather it was a visual representation of a live virtual cam feed to a webpage that one of the DRC fella's (Laxman?) set up. i may not be clear on this. i know tanshin was trying to rig up something similar one time i was there. i think they mentioned it then but i may not recall correctly.

Both the boat and the fish used to show up in earlier incarnations of the game. They just hadn't been enabled in MOULa.

Thanks for the link HenriMikel! What I saw was, most definately, a boat!

One thing confuses me about the Semonar though: if Veovis and A'Gaeris poisoned the lake, how did a giant whale, or anything really, survive? It seems to me the Semonar would have to be reintroduced!
