I tried and converted it to a small experimental age with Blender:

I tried to reproduce the same view and atmosphere with more or less success, but I could advence quite slowly and withmany problems, so I finished it (for the time being).

A few months ago I put a small experimental interactive point & click game in the "pipmak game engine" thread - probably the title of this thread was not very attracting and it remained unknown to many of you. Anyway, "Norfren's Age" is partly based on this Minkata story, the graphics will look quite familiar. It is simple, you have to reach the other end of the underground maze and to solve a few easy tasks. Now I've upgraded it with better graphics. You can download it from :

http://www.gunda.hu/uru_stuff3/norfensage_200.zip (about 39M)

Unzip it and start norfage.exe. You may want to switch it to fullscreen mode by repedeatly pressing "f".
( As I have other plans with this project, the link is planned to live for about two weeks)

Very nice! The improved graphics quality really makes a difference, and all the glitches I noticed earlier are fixed.

Did you add any interactivity? I don’t remember being able to
[spoiler]pick up a crank[/spoiler]
– or did I just miss that last time?

There is a syntax error in node 109: a missing comma at the end of line 8.

This is an absolute astounding graphics quality improvement, you're right, Christian ...
Awesome ... Kudos, Norfren ... :D

It is also very nice that you can load multiple instances of the game and thus compare the versions
directly lol ... I didn't see a c**** anywhere though, Christian ... However, great job, Norfren, thanks ... :P
