Hi,
Can anyone help me please?
I downloaded RealMyst, and during installation I was given the opportunity to change the resolution, which I did. Since then, when I start up my computer, I get a black screen with the message "Out of Range, 91Hz - 85kHz". I tried starting in safe mode using F8 to use a fix I found on the Microsoft website, but instead of the expected Start-up menu, I get a simple Boot menu, that only gives the option of booting using the hard disk or a CD Rom, which is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
I know my computer is working, because I can hear the jingle asking me to insert my password, which I can do, because the cursor always starts in the password window. I then hear the jingle that tells me I've logged in successfully. I just can't see anything other that this annoying message, which floats around the screen as if to taunt me.
My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium (I know, I should have upgraded to Windows 7).
Can anyone advise me on how to overcome this problem?
Thanks in anticipation.
