The Grandiose Journey - 3rd Quest Release - Dec 4th, 2011
What it encompasses?
18 quests spread inside 1 journey covering all the Er'cana age.
I can divide them into 3 distinct groups :
The Pellets Processing - 11 quests
The Canyon Area - 3 quests
The Grandiose Path - 4 quests
Distribution avatar: The Grandiose Journey (KI # 13021422)

Brief description of the journey:
For those who know me, you knew I had come with 4 monstrous quests in the past called : « Er’cana’s New Grounds ». Then few months later I released a 5th quest called : « A-S’s Er’cana Canyon », nearly 1700 markers inside 5 quests.
All this is past history now.
My new set of quests have exactly 1600 markers but spread into 18 quests. The coverage is total at least for the Pellets Processing section.
The heart of Er’cana in term of my markers is the grinding wheels top plane inside the mill. You’ll see that most of my routes go through it or start there.
I had defined what Er’cana exploration was back a year and a half ago with « Er’cana’s New Grounds »…
I do have redefined what Er’cana exploration is with this 3rd quest release.
Follow my "The Grandiose Journey Guide" quest to learn more about this journey, it's made by The Grandiose Journey and will be sent by her when she will send you all the quests.
Brief description of each group of quests:
1- The Pellets Processing:
In which part of Er'cana?
All the quests inside this group are located between the 5th cloth (storage room after the cart ride) and the 7th cloth (near the pellet dispenser).
Additional Info:
This group of quests is huge and I left hardly no "blank" spot in between the 5th and the 7th clothes. You want to know where almost all of the collision walls in this area are? Open my quests, you'll know where they are.
Some of my quests are linked together, some are standalone. It depends on whether they are located near the grinding wheels or not. The grinding wheels are the core element of this whole part. Over them, there is a huge solid plane. I putted some "Info Rings" in my quests that go by there.
Are combo jumps needed?
N-O
for all of the quests.
How many markers:
988 markers in 11 quests
Quests:
1- The Storage (#1) - Skydiver Annabelle - 103 markers
2- The Cart Side (#2) - Annabelle-Sophie - 80 markers
3- The Railings (#3) - La belle Anna - 67 markers
4- The Upper Ring (#4) - Annabelle-Sophie - 81 markers
5- The Mill (#5) - La belle Anna - 91 markers
6- The Great Courtyard (#6) - Annabelle-Sophie2 - 103 markers
7- The Grinding Wheels (#7) - Skydiver Annabelle - 90 markers
8- Tanks & Pipes (#8.) (former Er'cana's New Grounds (3 of 4) ) - Skydiver Anna - 89 markers
9- The Water Ends (#9) - La belle Anna - 98 markers
10- Spiral & Ovens (#10) - Skydiver Annabelle - 92 markers
11- The Pellets (#11) - La sauterelle - 94 markers
2- The Canyon Area:
In which part of Er'cana?
All the quests inside this group are located in the canyon Area (the 4 first journey clothes).
Additional Info:
This group of quests is tougher than the Pellets Processing because you'll need to do some combo jumping here and there.
You can actually do 85% of all without having to combo jump. Some markers (the 15%) are only reachable by combos.
You'll need to understand how to use the harvester at your advantage to grab some of my markers along the track.
Are combo jumps needed?
For approximately 15% of the markers spread in all the quests.
How many markers:
296 markers in 3 quests
Quests:
1- Canyon Exploration - La belle Anna - 94 markers
2- Railways & Factory Terminal (former A-S's Er'cana's Canyon) - Annabelle-Sophie - 101 markers
3- Terminal Front - Skydiver Annabelle - 101 markers
3- The Grandiose Path
What is The Grandiose Path?
In February 2011, when I finished The Pellets Processing quests, I had a thought: "What about connecting my different routes together to make one huge route that goes everywhere?". I made it and I couldn't come with another qualificative than "grandiose".
This single route is made of 276 steps.
From the 1st step at the top of the ladder hole near the pellets dispenser machine until the 276th step inside the pipe connecting the 2 storage rooms at the front of the Factory, you...
...won't touch the ground
...won't come to any crossing, for that you'll see that the path is sinuous
...will visit almost everything (ovens' building, 4 tanks, 3 connecting pipes, 2 big wheels, the great courtyard, the mill and its grinding wheels, 2 storage rooms, pipe connecting the 2 storage rooms and a lot of railings to connect each section).
You won't believe your eyes. From the start to the end, I take almost 1 hour and this is playing in edit mode and knowing each step by heart. You could easily double or triple the time for your journey on this path.
The 1st quest begins on the ground in the canyon in front of the factory terminal. From there, you'll be invited to go at the beginning of the path. In the 4th quest, after the 276th step, you'll be invited to finish the quest where you started it in front of the factory terminal in the canyon.
There's 2 "info rings" inside The Grandiose Path, each of them are located over the grinding wheels but inside 2 different quests, the (2 of 4) and the (3 of 4).
Are combo jumps needed?

How many markers:
316 markers in 4 quests

1- The Grandiose Path (1 of 4) - Annabelle-Sophie - 85 markers

4- The Grandiose Path (4 of 4) - Annabelle-Sophie - 72 markers
Voila! You have exactly 5 days to complete them before next release scheduled next saturday: Dec 10th, 2011
