Recently, I have seen one of the ResEngs, ResEngMDogherra, in the city. I've seen him on two different occasions, I don't remember exactly when, but it was definitely within the last month. Unfortunately, having not been there for the early days, I had no idea who/what he was. However, I did recognize the name from somewhere, and the ResEng title sent up a little red flag in my mind that this was not a "normal" player.

They varied in how much they interacted.. I wish some of them would post some of the fun stuff that happened here, little stories or anecdotes. Some of them must still read the forums here, right? Sure a lot of it would be personal, and a lot would be "Kicked this guy for spamming" "This guy was harasssing, banned him" and "helped this person out with a question" but some would be the little amusing stories. Plus, well, when they did come down to chat and have fun everyone got in the act. Trying to remember what it was... a gathering in a hood and a sort of orientation night.. wish I'd kept logs


That and of course the fun stuff we did to them in turn... I will never be able to not mentally equate them to raptors from Jurassic Park after a frantic run through the city and "He's RIGHT BEHIND ME!" "AAA HE GOT ME!" "RUN! RUN!"

I still tell that story whenever I have a chance. I regret that I can't remember who the ResEng in question was, however... I was too busy trying to guide our mission along while negotiating with Nick White via PM...

I think I still have a copy of that video. Makes me teary eyed to see it now. I remember a few of them used to show up for karaoke nights and stuff. Good times, and a bunch of great people. I miss them.
