Yes, it does, confirmed, and everything else is working great on the Minkata test shard as well, thanks to all involved ... Very Happy

I went yesterday on Minkata and grab the sparkly as well. With the January's sparkly I'm the proud owner of 2 sparklies Very Happy .
In less than a week, I'll have 3 sparklies...

But lets face the reality...

The main reason people want the Minkata's sparkly is to see fireworks in their Relto not to be able to grab the Minkata's sparkly itself.

Would it be possible for Minkata shard admin to do like Cyan did with MOULa shard and enable the other sparklies?

At least we would have a legal & Cyan's endorsed shard to log in and appreciate the fireworks in our Relto a bit before the official release in MOULa shard Very Happy

Please Wink

I agree, Annabelle, that the fireworks are the reason the Minkata sparklie is so coveted. But, it will soon be on Cyan's MOULA and I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Um, well, ah, all the sparklies were on until recently, but they are now following the classic order for testing purposes. Except we needed the Minkata shard Minkata sparklie on for your testing. If anyone doesn't have it, get it while you can. Wink

Also, I'd just like to mention that rarified has updated his progress list here:

While I'm happy to see (and grab!) the Minkata sparklie today (Feb. 1), I noticed however that the February sparklie is missing.

TOOO, if you mean on the Minkata shard, then you might want to post that on the OpenUru forum to notify rarified. I know he planned to have the sparklies on a calendar, so I'm sure he'd want to know that.

Just so you all know, I've just been looking for that sparklie myself (on the Minkata Shard) and can
confirm that it still isn't there ... I've posted a note on the OU forums so that they're aware of that ... Very Happy

Rarified has a lot on his plate right now. I'm sure he'll get to changing the spark on the Minkata test shard as soon as he can.

You can pin some of the blame on me as well. Though I've put some effort into automating calender events such as spark changes, I stopped working on it when I discovered a shortcoming of the method I'm using (changes can't be pushed to a 'live' age... folks have to link out before the magic happens). If I can finishi that up, and rarified can vet it, then that will reduce the amount of manual maintenance that rarified has to do on the shard, and we should see planned changes occur on a more regular schedule.

As for the official MOULa server, my scripts would probably require extra work to incorporate, so that'll most certainly continue to be done in whatever way Cyan is taking care of it.

Well from what I recall hearing years ago, the sparks were designed to be limited edition items only offered once... Mainly showing what months the user was active in the first year, while the second year was supposed to have some other monthly collectable that replaced the sparks.

Hello everyone,

Just a thought...
Does this sparklie ABSOLUTELY need to be in Minkata ?
It seems there is a major issue with this graphical object.

If Cyan put it there in the first place, they can make it appear elsewhere, can't they ?
This would solve the issue once and for all.

Suggestions...
Kirel, K'veer, one of the balconies in Ae`gura (access via Bahro stones), Kadish headquarters (pathway) in Ahnonay.

It works on OpenUru.org's Minkata test shard. The code has been submitted to Cyan. When Cyan updates MOULa with the fixes, the sparklie will work on MOULa too.
