I've wondered this for a while now. Maybe someone has experienced this and knows the answer. If you're in a friend's Relto, and you're on or watching his Sparkie Island as he/she snags the last sparkie, what do you see?

I believe that changes in a relto only happen when nobody is there,

Yep. Relto needs to be empty to add/subtract any changes.

So if someone acquires the last sparkie, or a Relto page, for that matter, having a friend in your Relto at the time will prevent the change from happening. So the owner would link back to his or her island from wherever and find everything just as they left it. No fireworks. No fire pit, dock, waterfall, butterflies, etc. Both explorers would have to vacate the premises and return to see the changes. Is that right? But obviously, this doesn' t apply for the star fissure.

You yourself would see the change to your Relto when you got back, but the person who stayed there wouldn't see the change until they relinked. In other words two people would see the same Relto slightly different for that moment.

This is correct only for sparklies. For Relto pages, please see slidshow's post.

Inconsistent? Yes. Just like everything else that happened in MOUL Wink

Oh, I was thinking specifically of the Sparklies and the fissure closing, but was forgetting the things that didn't fit that behavior. Whoops. Well, the original question was talking about a sparklie so I guess it still fits as an answer for that.

I'm sure everyone already knows where the kiva is since they've probably checked it a thousand times for the sparkly, but for those that don't and are in a hurry to collect it, I created a marker mission to it. Let me know if you want it.

I would love your marker mission! I pmed you but it said it failed, so not sure if you got it or not.

Awesome work everyone!! Seeing that new build and reading the release notes gave me a shot of that old excitement I would get whenever Cyan released an update to MOUL back in the day! I hope this is only just the beginning of what you plan to overhaul or add, for the KI what about a message that quickly crosses the screen whenever a buddy logs on? I have been playing Star Trek Online and sometimes you are busy or not paying attention but that quick so and so has just logged on is helpful if you are waiting on a friend etc, just a thought. Kudos again everyone!

Can you send it to me too? It's been too long since I last did Minkata, and not sure I have the time to re-figure it out... Smile
