Some Myst-related news, and gaming in general. Today, March 16th is the opening day for the exhibit the 'Art of Video Games' in the American Art Museum, which will last until the 30th of September. This exhibit is intended to explore the forty year old medium, and the eras that went along with it. The exhibit focuses on things like storytelling and interplay of graphics, with twenty gaming systems are represented. Public vote selected the winning eighty games, which you can find here.
Five eras of game development are featured. In all of these, a game that set future standards and offered a interactive experience in regards to the player to the world, was chosen, excluded from vote, and will feature limited available gameplay at the exhibit. These are Pac-Man, Super Mario Brothers, The Secret of Monkey Island, Myst, and Flower.
