I don't know of any guide to KI pics as taking them is about all people do.
They are stored at C:/Users/[name]/MyDocuments/UruLive/KIimages
If you want to convert them you might find this link to a post on the Guild Of Sleepers forum useful :

I had read somewhere about that "4 bytes" business but there seemed to be conflicting opinions as to the consequences of incorrect procedure.

Someone set up an avatar gallery a while back and people encountered this issue when they converted their avatar pic to jpg without having copied it away first.

I am pretty sure that I now have enough to go on, in order to do what I "think" I want to do.

I totally forgot about the the benefits of IrfanView. I remember using it a long time ago, back in MOUL v.1.0 back in 2006 / 2007, for saving and working with screen shots of various in-game hints and clues. Like all the beautiful "stuff" in the Kadish Gallery as just 1 example. I still have some of those old screen shots today and I guess that sometimes it's good to be a packrat and not discard gaming information. Enough about that...
