And I suppose people are quite content calling any old soft facial tissue a Kleenex (TM), or any old copy a Xerox (TM), or any old artificial turf an Astro-Turf (TM), or any old lip balm a Chap-Stick (TM)?

Or any old neighborhood in D'ni a Bevin?

Oh boy, this argument again?

If we change he name back to "Bevin" then I can't say to all my gangsta friends "Yo diggy dog, come join me in the "hood" for som greetin'!" Very Happy (I'm totally joking!)

No, in all seriousness the Bevin name was originally a mistake to begin with. So I think having them the way it was originally intended is good. However, I personally think "Neighborhood" sounds much better than "Hood," but implementing it this way usually doesn't display the "Neighborhood" text due to the design of the Nexus interface.

Im Kinda wondering why it was changed to begin with, personally I think it would be a better idea to try and convince Cyan to open up the Great Tree area in the Sanctuary or Pub as its called, or open up the area that leads to the roof in Tocota plaza, something to improve the game play or open up closed but already existing area's.

You can call the Bevin belly button lint if you want its still the same Bevin

Hmm The Belly Button lint Bevin,.........sounds better the the Belly Button lint hood. But I cant have a Belly Button Lint Bevin now can I cause somebody already went and changed it to hood Mad Evil or Very Mad

And sacred cows make great hamburger.

"Rapscallion" is a fantastic name for a Hood!

What ever happened to mimeographs? I can still remember the smell of freshly made copies in the morning... it smelt like... another test!

LOL! A Banda is what I called a mimeograph! Methinks the teachers used to get high on the fumes... they seemed a bit wobbly on their feet after running a large batch. Very Happy

Then again, there was always carbon paper to make REAL carbon copies ( the origin of cc:)

Let's get back on topic, folks.

How do I change my vote to "Hood back into Rapscallion Banda Vidalia"?

Easy. Download the source, make the changes you want, then build up your own shard.

I agree with Adam 100% on this one, I also don't really think "hood" is to "ganstary" because that's not the way it's supposed to be "interpreted".

P.S. Adam your XML on the first page seems to be missing a tag Wink

A good way to settle this would be to release the original Bevin and the original Seret. Then you can't call them all Bevin.

and I agree with this, because it's all about context.

plus, it's all about the apostrophe, as i always spell it as 'hood, because it's not a hood.
