Location: Still looking for the elusive Funky Bahro.

Something strange is happening with my Uru shards. I am getting "Initializing patcher..." on:

MOULa
The Open Cave
The Minkata Shard
The Gehn Shard

on all three of my PCs! It's stuck there, without even a progress bar.

(On the other hand, Deep Island works just fine.)

Is this happening to anyone else?

I just checked and get the same thing. However, the Gehn shard says that there are 2 explorers in the cavern. I wonder if they really are or if that's a bug.

"Initializing patcher" usually means there is still a hidden patcher/launcher is running. See : http://mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19424 "patcher problems"

I was getting same patcher note and tried to do a re-install and it would not download all the files .
I could only get the launcher and the remove files.
Some thing is definitly wrong...

MOULa is having issues. Gehn and Minkata shards are working. Following lunanne's solution will resolve the issue with the other shards.

Looks like the file server that the patcher (launcher) connects to has disappeared (into the clouds, heh).

I will have to rebuild a new file server which might take a hour or two. In the mean time I will disable logins (even though no one can probably get that far at the moment).

I guess threatening a server with termination made it "straighten up", lol.

Anyhow, MOULa is back online and logins unrestricted.
If you're patching is still just sitting there, follow lunanne's link above.
