Hi,

I want to send a KI-mail in my neighborhood's imager and either i get an error or the Ki-mail doesn`t show.
Works fine with KI-images though.

Also tried to send the same KI-mail in my Relto's imager with no success. Same problem.
Did you experience the same behavior lately ?
If you found a solution, please share.

Either i receive a message on top left of the screen indicating that uru has stopped working or the KI-mail doesn`t upload on the imager. It happened 3 times.

I tried the exact same thing in my Relto with same result.
I asked one of Annabelle`s avis, which is a member of my Hood, to do the same and she got the identical result.
She didn't got an error forcing to restart uru but the KI-mail never appeared on the imager.

I think this is again caused by high vault node IDs.

In fact it does not matter whether it is an image or a text note. What matters is when it was created. You probably used a new text note and an old existing image.

I just tested with an old text note and a brand new image. The text was displayed, uploading the new image made me crash.

I tried that also. Changed an old KI-text and sent it to the imager. It didn't work either.

Not old enough?

I'm pretty certain now that this is the same bug as the Relto bookshelf. The imager upload routine uses the exact same method as the bookshelf did before it was fixed.

I have a Python workaround for this on BitBucket. I heard GoW/H'uru is also working on a client fix. Cool

A fix has been developed and tested, and will be sent to Chogon shortly.

We have also taken the opportunity to include it in the Minkata shard update that is currently being prepared, so it gets some testing there too.

Hello again,

Something really strange happened a couple of days ago dealing with my Hood`s imager. Here it is...

1. I empty the imager. Everything is fine.
2. I create a Ki-mail.
3. I send this Ki-mail to the imager.
4. And now, the weird thing... What appears on the imager is a pic taken by one of my buddies !!
5. I don't even have this pic in my own KI !!
6. I don't see my Ki-mail on the imager, only the pic.

I invite my friend and show him the pic in question.
He says: 'How did you get that ? I didn't send this pic to anyone !'

I explained to him exactly what i've done. He cannot come with a logical explanation.

So, if someone has a logical explanation to this, please feel free to post.

The image appeared on the DMR imager.
But this image was never sent to anyone. My friend kept it in his KI.
He never shared it.

This problem is related to the high number of nodes in the vault. A fix is included for the next update package that Cyan will pick up later this month.
