The following is a list of points you can receive for the various activities completed in ADBMM 2012.

Scoring Chart and Score Values

Reading any of the Myst Books - 20 points each

Completing any of the Myst Games:
: Myst - 10 points
: Riven - 25 points
: Exile - 25 points
: Revelation - 40 points
: Myst V - 25 points
: Uru 
Ages in each category completed:
      - ABM - 25 points
      - To D'ni - 10 points
      - Pots - 15 points
      - CC - 60 points

: Moula - 75 points (The entire game; this does not include hub ages (i.e. the Cavern, Nexus) or Relto Pages)
-5 points for each individual age
-Any additional ages on MOULa Shards = same as above (i.e. Pod Ages, Minkata)

For Contests:
      - First Place: 30 points
      - Second Place: 20 points
      - Third Place: 15 points
      - All Other Participants: 10 points

Marker Games: 15 points
Cavern Attendance at events: 5 points
Flash Mobs (If applicable): 5 points

After ADBMM is complete, please PM your score totals or list of activities you participated in to Trekluver and your score will be tallied in with the rest.

So why is completing Revelation worth 15 more point than finishing any of the others? Just curious. Is it considered the most difficult?

Well Revelation is a longer and slightly more difficult game than the others, hence the designated score. However, I've noticed some flaws in my initial post regarding the scores given for the various versions of Uru, so I plan to update that within the hour.

The point is, anyone can chose any one of those things to do to acquire points. Complete a Myst game? You get points. Complete a Myst book? You get points. Of course, most people won't get points for these things. Those that do however will be highly rewarded.

I guess I should have more clearly stated things, but people can be doing those things now and still get points. ADBMM started on May 1st; the cavern week doesn't start until the 13th though. And even after that, ADBMM will continue until midnight on the 31st.

If you want a quick way to gain a few, I'll give anybody who completes Myst 10 points. And I'm pretty sure everyone around here that wants to do that can.

So, we have to complete the games and stuff during May? That's an annoyance for me, since Riven won't run, and Revelation glitches out on me.

You can play the other games if you wish. You aren't restricted to one or the other in any way. Besides, I can guarantee you based on last year's results that no one will be playing and beating every game for ADBMM.
