Ok, just an update and a quick rundown of the rules that MUST be followed during the Rand Q&A.

First, Ahlisendar has informed me of a typo in the time for his Cavern Trivia Event TOMORROW. The correct time and location is 8:00 EDT/18:00 KI Time in Kirel.

Also, the Jaruku Bevin Dancers will be holding a dance routine twenty minutes before the Rand Q&A. This will begin at 2:10 PM EDT/12:10 KI Time in Kirel and last for approximately 4 minutes. A USTREAM link to their routine's music will be announced by or on Saturday.

And finally the rules for the Rand event...

First off, we will consider GreyHat intervention if anyone consistently breaks these rules during the event. These rules are intended to make everything run as smoothly as possible. If you still have questions, please submit them now in the forum post found here. If you do not, there is no guarantee that he will be able to answer your question. If there is time left after the meeting, we might take additional questions, but do not count on this being the case.

Taniith and I will me your moderators. We will ask Rand the questions, and reply to any interjections or questions he makes for others. Here are your rules for the Q&A that we ask that you follow:

1: DO NOT PM Rand DURING THE EVENT. This will be distracting to him; we ask that you be civil and polite towards this rule.

2: Do not make public comments during the event; this includes /me quotations, but excludes clapping and cheering. Doing so keeps the chat lines clear and allows everyone to clearly see what Rand is saying.

3: Do not pose questions during the event. This has already been addressed above, and violates rules one and two as well.

4: Stay clear from the podium. Follow the same procedures that you would for an All Guilds Meeting.

No, that is entirely correct. The routine is approximately four minutes in length.

The trivia game event is finished. I didn't get as many attendants as I'd hoped, and it still had a few quirks, but was fun nonetheless. It gave us a nice time to hang out, and if I do this in the future, I'll know what to improve on. On that note:

You're reading it wrong. It isn't from 2:10 EDT till 12:10 KI, it's either 2:10 EDT or 12:10 KI.

So, The Jaruku Dancers start their 4 minute routine at 12:10 KI time,
this is stated as being 20 minutes before the event with Rand.

The event with Rand starts at 18:00 KI time.
That is a gap of 5 hours 50 minutes.

And I'm reading it wrong?
