Thank you, Leighana. I'd missed that.
That could have been in response to the anti-gigex lobby and the GoG doing them for people not wanting to go down that route.
Note: Ubi, not Cyan.

Gee... Ubi and not Cyan... one little mistake.... at least i was not imagining the offer for a CD (should have seen that... it does say UBI on the image of the CD.)

I wonder if there is any really good reason I have refused to ever buy anything from Ubi except for Myst related games? Rolling Eyes

I've learned something here. I didn't know about the Ubi CD.

I also had experience like that at UBI. I had been messing around in Eder Gira after closing the vent in the middle of the lava river Just by chance and curiosity I tried to jump over the lava river to the outer edge and made it, so I did not hafta link out to finish the first part of the puzzle. I explained this in a thread over at UBI and they did not believe me. Until I explained it in a bit more detail, I guess not to many people knew about it before. So he made us a map and wrote a small description that was a bit easer to understand then what I had wrote

Did UBI employees know that a jump made in running mode AKA run-jump is the simplest thing to do to "escape" the lava pit?????

I never recalled falling in the lava pit whether I played on URU:CC offline or on MOUL servers online.

It would have been a much easier road to walk if I had remembered that the offer was from Ubi and not Cyan. Since I am having trouble remembering what I did last week, it is not surprising I might have trouble remembering something from 8 years ago. As I posted earlier, this was not well known at the time and I really can't say where I stumbled across the information.

They may have known Im not sure it could have been a misunderstanding, I do sound confusing at times, which is why I am into 3d graphics and not story line. any way it was a several years ago, and I cant get to the thread because the forum where I left it not is down for maintenance or something

I'm having trouble remembering a lot of this since I was only 8 years-old at the time my dad introduced it to me...

You have to get all 150 stone wedges, and then use Strength on the truck.

Post Posted: Wed May 16, 2012 9:18 pm — Post subject: Technically speaking

If you really knew me, the one thing about me you would know is I don't lie!
I may get mixed up in my facts sometimes and when I do, I am also willing to admit to it.
I have no need or desire to show off to anyone here in the forum or MOUL,a game.
This is a game we are talking about here and not a real life changing impacting event.
Sure the content I have spoken about would be a great addition to find again.
And I am trying with what little time in my life that allows for it, to find it.

While I like to think I have a very good imagination, trust me, this is not something even I could have thought up.

When I have exhausted all the options of playing through what game CD's and saved file content I have and can find, then I will re-attach the remaining old hard drives I have found and look through them.
Although, too my bitter and recent discovery, the old Sony Viao Desktop computer I gave to my brother in-law that could have had that game content on it was since thrown out. Shocked

Also, I wouldn't rule out having gotten it as a download either. Back then though, I saved everything to the 3.5 144MB diskettes and again, they have all been thrown out! Shocked

Trust me, I really don't like being called a liar publically by anyone.
And so I am not without motivation to find some proof of the content I claimed.
However, back when I recall deleting so many of those pictures I had of the upper Gahreesen playable area, I couldn't have know it was unique content worth keeping. I just hope I saved something.

As to a posted suggestion to join the GoW's and 3D max because of my imagining, I have written an Age Story for Open Source MOUL,a called the Ages of Planet Dragonia with hand drawn Ages and detailed puzzle logic to all the Ages according to the Story theme. I have been building the website to share some of that unique hand drawn Age maps with notes content and have been buzy scanning it all into jpeg files to upload into my Google Picasa Web account.
However, right now I'm in the process of changing hosts and the existing site will be down while I rebuild the content again with the new hosts web building tools. While it may still up www.planetdragonia.com

If you really knew me, you'd know that I don't call people liars unless I actually think they're lying. You seem very nice and I'd very much like to believe the best of you, but you're saying things that cannot possibly be true. I don't think you appreciate just how implausible your story is. Please, please, give me some other explanation. "No, no, I couldn't possibly have imagined it" NOT HELPING! Help me out here!

I was in the public city in MOULa when Jahmen came along and claimed in public chat that he had been inside the chamber where the egg was, and that the egg was open.

I did not call him a liar, or say I did not believe him. All I asked him to do was either post a picture of him in the egg chamber with the egg open, or email it to me (I said I'd provide him with my email address once he had the picture).

I am still waiting for that picture.

Just a few things I found while on Google:
http://faqs.ign.com/articles/528/528387p1.html
Skip to section "4. Easter Egg Mode". This author also claims that there is a puzzle associated with the Egg Room, although it doesn't "open up". I haven't tried this myself, but I just might take a look at it if I reinstall Uru:CC (who knows, maybe it was included in all versions from To D'ni onwards). This link also suggests there is an associated puzzle:

However, this is mostly to answer the original post of this topic; I couldn't find any information about "opening" it.

On the other hand, as for Gahreesen swimming, it is technically possible to do it, even if it isn't done using unmodified game files (found this with Google):

IIRC, you can take advantage of this easter egg in MOULa as well. I'm pretty sure it still worked in the Gametap MOUL.

I think there's a strong possibility that that picture was merely made by combining an image of Gahreesen with one of Ahnonay. There are, of course, other ways to do it, but that would be the easiest. It is my understanding that adding swimming to an age is decidedly nontrivial, and I believe actually be easier (if we assume for the sake of argument that the picture itself unmodified) to simply use flymode to put the avatar in position and then activate the swimming animation (I remember some of the Until Uru shard admins used to do stuff like that, those animations exist even in earlier versions of the game).

Although I suspect that particular image was made to entertain, not to delude, and was made using photoshop or the like, not special game modifications.
