Myst V is now available on GoodOldGames.com for $9.99
http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/myst_5_end_of_ages

As well as the game, you get a manual, concept art, soundtrack and making of videos.

In my opinion great value for $10. Even better if Cyan get part of that $10.

I bought it, even though I have it on disc already. I bought it for backup purposes.
This is the Myst V I have:

Oh thx Alien Smile

I'll buy a numeric copy like I did for the other game. I hate having to load my DVD each time I play it.

I have a question about Myst V? I'm not sure this is the place to post it but, here goes....After listening to both Yeesha and Escher and going to (what I think is D'ni Ti'vah in URU) the Great Shaft...there is a mural on the wall that has D'ni writing and D'ni numbers...I understand the numbers, however the writing is strange..posting a screen shot here...

I've tried translating it using the guide found in Myst IV...posting image here...

I get... Pb Theb ....?

Any help?

The numbers are significant later on in Myst V, note them down.

I'm guessing Lordly is looking for a translation of the text above the numbers?

The original release, or the gog.com one?

No-one's sure what pb teb is supposed to mean, and the only theory about the numbers is that they represent the distance from D'ni.

Alien, where in Myst V are the numbers needed? I've played the game myself, and never needed them.

I've never needed them either and I have Win 7 64-bit but I never use program files which is looked in Vistia and Win 7 even with UAC off, so maybe that has something to do with it.

pb is (element) lead on the chart I use on the surface..I would assume that same chart is used underground? theb I'm lost on. Don't tell me they mean 'lead (pb) the Bahro (theb)'? LEED the Bahro? use the Bahro?....steer the Bahro?

I'll spoiler it so as not to ruin it for those who wish to find out for themselves.
The two numbers are the missing numbers you need for the broken scope in Toldemer.

Didn't I just say that they have no meaning? Pb teb doesn't mean anything, unless it's some sort of acronym. And it's not theb, it's teb.

Really? You sure? I never had to use them.
