Beyond Imagination

Release Date: Saturday, April 21st 2012

Distribution Avatar: Beyond Imagination (Please contact Annabelle (#03632553) in-game or here on forum to have my quests)

Important Notice: If you don't tell me your KI NUMBER, I won't be able to send anything to you

Disclaimer: Not being in the Creativity section. All the following pictures were taken in normal conditions and can be reproduce using the external client provided by Cyan Worlds given you have the patience & the skills to go along

All of the 24 quests of this release are located inside Kadish Tolesa age.

This age is huge. Guild Master Kadish wrote Kadish Tolesa to impress. All in this age is thought. The mind-bending puzzles, the awesome sceneries, the majesty of each location (forest, mist lake, pyramid, pillars room, vault). Cyan transposed that building the age. Usually the collision walls are between 20 to 30 feet high. In Kadish Tolesa, you’ll find some walls at 30 to 60 feet high but mostly the walls are sky high. In the main forest with the 3 scopes puzzle the average height is 230 feet. We are talking of 23 storey-high buildings height here.

Impressive & grandiose is the age so are my quests inside it, a homage to this age. I didn’t make easy quests for the simple reason that Kadish Tolesa doesn’t stand easiness. Playing it, you must go thru mind-bending puzzles. You feel so little so fragile inside this age; it was part of Guild master Kadish’s plan.

You can divide the age in parts. The main forest, the moon room, the lower forest & mist lake, the pyramid & its courtyard, the pillars room, the vault & the alternative vault (which was added much later by Yeesha).

The main forest is where most of my explorations began. Abjab found out an elevator that I perfected to become the “Kadish Great Elevator”. We literally touch the clouds (the black waved planes high above (see pictures below)).
I then found out the way to reach an area I call the “Underfloor”. It’s a huge plane located directly below the main forest (see pictures below).

Many think that climbing on top of the Kadish Great Elevator is a goal. For me, it’s just one tiny step to reach everything up until the pyramid. I mapped all the areas in between (the main forest, the moon room, the lower forest & the mist lake). The only thing that stopped me from going farther (deep into the pyramid courtyard & beyond) is a huge panic link region at same height as the collision walls top. There’s no way to cross that.

I found 2 other “Great Elevators”. I putted them inside 2 different quests: “La jolie’s Kadish Great Elevator” & “The Connections”. What do I define as being a “Great Elevator”? It’s an elevator starting & reachable from the forest normal ground and ending all the way up high at 230 feet above on top of the collision walls. Without them around, there would have been nearly no extensive exploration at all apart some combo elevators here and there. (Note: that’s no more entirely true but for almost the past 20 months it was. In early April 2012, I found out a 4th way to climb to the top using combo + an elevator after riding a bit on collision wall)

24 quests, it seems like a lot for one age but remember, this age is, after D’ni-Ae’gura, the age with the most extensive normally reachable collisions. For example, in Er’cana, a huge age, we can’t reach more than 40% of all what we can do in other OS shards (Gehn, TOC MOUL) playing on MOULa.

My quests can be divided into 3 parts: 2 extensive networks and independent quests. My 2 network revolves on the “Great Elevators” earlier mentioned. The 2 networks connect with each others. They don’t perfectly overlap but cover everything from the linking point up to the pyramid courtyard.

There's a small list of explorers who help me in Kadish Tolesa: Abjab, Ken, Sirius, Mirphak & Jahmen. 97% of all my 2,040 markers have been placed by my sole researches and without help of anyone. A special thanks to Boq who helped me out during a period of 6 months during 2011 which enabled me to stabilise my quests.

La sauterelle’s Network:11 quests in grand total

This network is the first I developed. I started a long time ago. The first marker I ever laid down in Kadish Tolesa with my avatar called: “La sauterelle” was in early August 2010. I must have putted 3,000 markers since then with her. Only inside the 11 quests, you’ll find 925 of them.

Kadish Great Elevator – 45 markers

This is the main quest to have. On top of this “Great Elevator”, you can reach directly all of the quests marked with a “(1)” beside their name. After riding some of the direct connected quests, you will eventually access the last 3 quests with a “(2)” beside their name.

Base of the Great Elevator

The elevator

Underneath Kadish Forest (1) – 92 markers

This quest is at 95% entirely located on the underfloor beneath the forest ground

The 1st Scope Clearing (1) – 80 markers

Picture taken from the underfloor

Picture taken at one of the end of the quest

Looping around the Dais (1) – 61 markers

You will loop clockwise then counter-clockwise to come back at the start (taken on the underfloor)

Taken from the clearing ground

The 2nd Scope Clearing (1) – 99 markers

You might say: “That’s messy!” (view from the underfloor)

...and you’re right! This little clearing is full of walls & planes.

The Purple Trail (1) – 88 markers

This quest starts at the Kadish Great Elevator and gives access to these quests: “The Moon Room”, “Tolesa’s Canopy”, “The Great Fall”, “Poetic Skydiving”, “The Lower Forest” & “The Mist”. It’s the main connector between every quest & between my 2 networks.

The Sky Route (1) – 91 markers

You see my Sky Route & the Sky Connector (an elevator near the Nexus Clearing enabling connections between “The 1st Scope Clearing” quest & the...sky).

On the Sky Connector, going up

This quest starts at the Kadish Great Elevator and gives fast access to these quests: “Tolesa’s Canopy” & “The Great Fall”. It’s the fastest connector of the network.

Kadish Tolesa Extraordinaire (1) – 135 markers

This quest is really hard compared to other ones in La sauterelle’s Network.

As you can see here, there are a lot of elevators and this makes it harder. You’ll mostly do big leaps between forest tree lines

There are ground components in this quest accessible from high up under the clouds

Talking about clouds, in this quest you’ll be able to reach the base of them standing at nearly 270 feet above grounds. You really feel like being in an eerie location standing there, it’s a real awesome experience.

The Moon Room (2) – 58 markers

It’s 1 of the 2 main entrances to the moon room. You can see the moon room real far below and distinguish 3 main “falling” routes. Let’s follow one to give you an idea...

There’s nothing more awesome that this entry in the moon room

Because of the lighting effect, you see some really bright markers and some really dim. In this quest, every marker has been placed for eye’s enjoyment.

Tolesa’s Canopy (2) – 98 markers

This quest represents the far reaches of La sauterelle’s Network. You see markers inside the 3rd Scope Clearing, 3 different paths to follow.

If you look real high in this picture, you’ll see my markers of the same quest as the previous picture

Same quest viewed from the underfloor

The Great Fall (2) – 78 markers

I’m standing right at the start of the quest and I’m looking at the “falling” route.

The same “falling” route seen from the other way around

You’ll end up here at 70 feet above the ground of the 2nd scope clearing with 2 paths to explore reach the underfloor

La jolie Annabelle’s Network: 7 quests in grand total

This network has been developed a full year after La sauterelle’s one. I must have lain as many markers with this avatar called: “La jolie Annabelle” than I did with La sauterelle. This network revolves around 2 “Great Elevators” found a week apart in the surroundings of the rotating room. This was a breaking point in my exploration. Before that, I had only explored inside the main forest. Being more centered, these 2 “Great Elevators” gave me the opportunity to speed up the process & explore the lower forest, the mist lake & the pyramid courtyard areas as well as remote areas inside the main forest.

La jolie’s Kadish Great Elevator – 61 markers

This is the 2nd Great Elevator. You’ll climb real fast on one side of the rotating room. The list of quests playable from this quest is quite impressive: “The Mist”, “The Lower Forest”, “Tolesa’s Canopy”, “Kadish Tolesa Extraordinaire”, “The Great Fall”, “The 2nd Scope Clearing” & the main part of “Poetic Skydiving”.

This quest ends here in the lower forest area where you’ll be able to link to these quests: “The Lower Forest” & “The Mist”

The Connections – 67 markers

This is the 3rd Great Elevator. You’ll start on one side of the rotating room & switch early to the opposite side to reach a whole unreachable section otherwise. From up there, you’ll be able to play “Clearing Heights” & part of “Poetic Skydiving” quests.

This quest ends here in the lower forest area where you’ll be able to link to these quests: “The Lower Forest”, “The Mist” & “Mist Lake Splendor”

Clearing Heights – 64 markers

This is how it looks like at the playground level. This quest is really a skydiving treat. You’ll end up doing a big leap of 270 feet to reach the underfloor on a distance of 60 to 70 feet. So it’s all about jumping, leaping & climbing.

This quest viewed from the grounds with the 3rd scope in near view.

Poetic Skydiving – 154 markers

This quest is really hard compared to other ones in La jolie Annabelle’s Network. The original idea behind this quest goes all the way back to last summer (2011) when I released 2 french quests called: “De poésie et de voltige” (Poetry & Skydiving) & “D’une brumeuse et infinie beauté” (A Misty & Infinite Beauty). They were part of a game & were & still are the hardest quests I published for it.

I mixed the 2 & add more hardcore sections to give birth to: “Poetic Skydiving”. It’s a masterpiece in terms of beauty but also in terms of difficulty.

You see all the markers. They seem all separated but they are all linked. Some are on the underfloor, some at 10 feet above grounds, some at 40, some at 75, some at 230, and some at 270.

The markers path you see going far away, that’s the 2nd part of my quest; it goes to the far reaches of the mist lake area

Here’s another view taken from the underfloor right beneath the middle of the main forest

The Lower Forest – 93 markers

You see the 1st part of this quest

You see the 2nd part of this quest with the path going near the stairs to reach the pyramid courtyard

The Mist – 87 markers

You see the 1st part of this quest

You see the 2nd part of this quest with the path going to the far reaches on the right side of the mist lake area

Mist Lake Splendor – 89 markers

Unlike the 2 previous quests, this quest starts where I stand on the picture. It gave me more room (more markers available) to reach the last extends in both the pyramid courtyard & the mist lake area.

That’s the farthest extend possible going toward the pyramid. Just a foot ahead, there’s a huge panic link zone at avatar’s height preventing us to explore further more that way.

As you can see, I’m way above ground at nearly 40 feet high

This picture shows the 2nd part of the quest where you’ll reach the far extend in the mist lake area – (Note: this picture applies also for “Poetic Skydiving” quest)

You might not realize this; in this picture I’m far beyond anything normally reachable within Kadish Tolesa. Count up to 7 markers from my stand point; this is where the normal ground ends. I’m over a thin waved collision wall extending in nowhere land– (Note: this picture applies also for “Poetic Skydiving” quest)

This is what you can see from there without any visual interference from columns or ground – (Note: this picture applies also for “Poetic Skydiving” quest)

Independent Quests: 6 quests in grand total

I did work on different other projects too within Kadish Tolesa. Being my favorite age, I had to come with my main trio (Annabelle-Sophie, Annabelle & Annabelle X) & to assign each of them a part of this release. All the quests I call “Independent” are really what I’m calling them. They aren’t link together or with the networks. The 2 quests made with Annabelle are linked together being part 1 & part 2 of the same route.

Beyond Imagination (1 of 2) by Annabelle – 87 markers

Beyond Imagination (2 of 2) by Annabelle – 88 markers

(1 of 9) – the start

(2 of 9) – the elevator

(3 of 9) – the forest high path

(4 of 9) – just before the leap in between the clearings

(5 of 9) – A view of the small high elevator in the 3rd scope clearing

(6 of 9) – At the top of the 3rd scope clearing just before the big leap to the moon room

(7 of 9) – on the moon room wall before the leap to reach the lower forest path

(8 of 9) – in the core of the lower forest

(9 of 9) – the last part going to the far reaches of the mist lake area

These 2 quests represent my prime idea: making a single route starting in the heart of the main forest and ending at the farthest extend inside the mist lake area. It’s a path beyond imagination inside the most unbelievable age ever created by Cyan. You’ll journey for a mile length going from ground to 230 feet above it, following a path below clouds, jumping in the void, reaching again the clouds, jumping again in the void to reach the moon room, jumping a third time in the void, crossing the entire lower forest & mist lake areas to end up at the far reaches of the later. Like I said, it’s a path…Beyond Imagination in 138 steps.

Kadish Area X by the infamous Annabelle X – 94 markers

It’s a signed quest made in a forgotten area of Kadish. You can’t miss the signature I must say. It’s not a hard quest just an awesome one. Cyan surely had plans for that area unfortunately it didn’t go accordingly to their will.

You see the Area X in middle of the picture. The “X” is real dim because you’re standing at 270 above ground and the “X” is around 15 feet above ground beyond tree lines

The area is not a part of the underfloor (where I’m standing) and it’s located beyond the forest itself

This picture talks more. BTW I covered this area in other quests too; you might encounter “The Floating Realm” or “The Forgotten Area” in other quests. All these areas are the same just different naming. You’ll learn following my quest a bit about this area and what “could have been” built there by Cyan given what I’ve seen with Plasmaclient (back when it was working before May 2011)

Kadish Pillars by Annabelle X – 48 markers

This quest was already released from my December 2010 quest release. I reworked it a little bit to refresh it and put it to my today standards. It’s a hardcore quest like most of the X signature quests I’ve produced. You’ll have to work real hard to reach every marker inside the pillars room.

It’s an insane quest. Be prepared to grind teeth if you want to grab every single marker you see in that picture

Cracking the Vault by Annabelle X – 86 markers

Notice: Play this quest alone in your Kadish. As soon as you’ll have a buddy with you, the camera in 3rd view will be bugged FOR THE ENTIRE duration of the quest. You won’t be able to reproduce these following pictures where you can clearly see that the camera is not bugged in 3rd view.

It’s a signed quest entirely located inside the alternative vault. You’ll learn the “real story” behind this vault…at least from Annabelle X’s perspective. It’s a funny but yet hard quest. It revolves on Annabelle X’s story. There’s her signature somewhere but unlike “Kadish Area X”, the signature is a little bit harder to find.

I cracked the alternative vault inside out. You’ll be able to go everywhere including up here

Picture taken on the top of the vault wall with my head standing over the roof

This is taken on the same spot but this time looking at the vault itself

In Kadish Tolesa, we are never very far from the purple void. Here, I’m playing with camera angle to get the void. On the next angle, I would have seen every visible from this spot.

I’m behind the vault on a solid plane

The Vaults (the former Kadish Vault) by Annabelle-Sophie – 99 markers

This quest was the other quest that was already released from my December 2010 quest release. I reworked it entirely to make it more up to date with my newer released quests. It covers both vaults: the main vault (2/3) & the alternative vault (1/3). This quest will surely be considered as being the hardest of them all because you have to do a lot of combo & double jumps to reach my markers which is quite unusual in Kadish Tolesa.

A view from outside the main vault

A view from inside the main vault (1 of 2)

A view from inside the main vault (2 of 2)

A view from under the floor of the alternative vault

So you have the big picture (...and 60 small pictures). This release is the 6th one because of the intrinsic difficulty of this age not the individual difficulty of each quest (but “The Vaults” & “The Pillars”). You cannot approach this age like any other ages in URU. For many of my quests, you will nearly see nothing apart from the surrounding purple void, making it hard to even do simple steps.

I hope you’ll like this release. It was a long 20 months process to come with these gems (24 quests).

Oh it's ok Calroger you don't need to excuse yourself.

BTW for your info and others too who have request a marker QUEST. I made at this date 142 quests and 20 will be released in the next month.

You can request either an entire release, a quest or some of my quests. As I've already mentionned, each new release comes with harder quests. I mean the overall release here; you might find a "hard as Hell" quest in the first release and an easy one in the sixth release.

Many of my quests ask explorers to perform combo jumping or double jumps. These techniques were explained by me in these posts:

http://mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25215&highlight=
You'll find Q & A but the techniques are explained in the last part under: "Is there a Skydiver Lexicon?"

Or even look at this old thread

http://mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=22173&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15
You have to skip a lot of posts not pertaining and go to the one I posted on October 17th, 2010 called: "Combo Jumps: How to do them". It's written in very poor english. I wasn't very good at that time. It might be a little bit hard to understand

Here's the links to my first 5 releases.

1st Release: The Magnificent City http://mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25216&highlight=

2nd Release: Buggaros, Fissure & Spheres http://mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25260&highlight=

3rd Release: The Grandiose Journey http://mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25308&highlight=

4th Release: Into Darkness http://mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25325&highlight=

5th Release: The D'ni Cavern http://mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25514&highlight=

Your patience and determination is unbelievable. I doubt the writer even knew there was so much to marker in this age Wink
Did you find a floor beneath the vault - I can still "swear" I fell onto one from off a bracing rod. I moved and fell and stood then slipped off. Or maybe it was just a long relto fall Sad I prefer to think there was a floor.

Laughing I'm laughing at myself... loading all the images on this page is a real pain... I can only blame myself Wink

To answer you L'shana:

there's indeed a floor underneath the main vault but you didn't touch it, you touched an almost vertical collision wall. It gives the strange sensation of being held during your inevitably descent to Relto.

The floor is beyond that "almost vertical" wall (60 feet high standing at the entrance of the vault & it goes 80 feet lower, let me tell you, Cyan didn't want us to go there Wink ). We cannot reach it in MOULa. You can climb it in Gehn or TOC MOUL shard.

The floor is the same as in alternative vault, it's just easier to reach.

------

For your statement about the writer of that age (or to an extend to every ages in URU), I'm not so sure...

It's really philosophical and it goes real far but when I will finally publish out my quests in the Eders later in June, you will see to what extend I mapped certain ages or certain parts of a given age. There's always a weak spot. I had a thought while mapping the puffers.

You know the puffers, the big plants in Kemo near the pond tunnel. There's 1 weak puffer, that puffer is the easiest to reach. This "weakness" serves to reach its top (25 feet higher) and from there you can map everything in that 2nd section of Kemo.

So my question that gave me chills when I thought about it while on the 7th puffer from the initial one...Why have they coded that puffer like that? There's another puffer really well placed that is coded differently also. So well coded that it helps to reach the other ones surrounding it. Why they have coded that one differently too? Why opening a breach? (coded here on a physical perspective)

They, the coders, seemed to know exactly what they were doing Wink . They didn't thought I and many others (see the alternative vault is not my discovery, it's Jahmen's) wouldn't look everywhere and seek for them I think. It's a puzzle oriented game, an adventure game, a game where we are called "explorers". They should have thought we would seek everything including the collision weaknesses.

I didn't stop until I have mapped it all. People who followed me right from the start knew it. I had one goal: explore everything, go everywhere. I learned real early how to combo jump & double jump. That gave me an unprecedented head start over everyone else. I was in between 2 jobs, I had time to do that. Most of my discoveries were done prior to 2011. Since January 2011, I refine and add some bits here and there.
