This is going to sound very bizarre, but for some reason I have NEVER had marker lights on my KI. I completed both the red and green marker collections (which I only know are supposed to correspond to those color lights because of walkthroughs and other explorers' references) without ever having lights on the side of my KI. I kept track of how many GZMs I had by keeping a written tally. Other than the lights, my KI -inlcuding for GZM detection and collection- functions perfectly, but the little squares on the side that are supposed to turn into lights (I have seen pictures) always remained purple, as the KI is supposed to look before you put it in the GZ machine to enable it to pick up markers. Does anyone know what could be going on or how I could fix this? I would like to be able to do marker missions, and those would be far easier with lights on my KI.

I'm a bit surprised that you say that the KI lights are purple as they should be. The normal way they should look like is rather blueish or greyish. Purple usually indicates that a players marker mission is running on your KI at the moment.

Sorry, Cpt. You are correct. The word "purple" was a mistake. The place where the lights should be on my KI is blue, but I have never had any lights there, green, red, or otherwise.
