Having not been able to attend this event, I am curious if there is more of a story to the beach ball.

At a minimum, it gives me a chance to practice my D'ni. I think I am reading it correctly...

.sehkehmah kaet t'mahrnahl rahm kehshtahv

[sehk - v. to have][ehm - 2nd person singular][ah - imperative form]
[kaet - adv. only/just] [t' - prep. in/by/with][mahrn - v. to create][ahl - v. to adj. modifier]
[rahm - adj. good] [kehsh - v. to caution/warn][tahv - v. to n. modifier]

(Literally) Have only in creating good warning.
(Paraphrased) Have (this ball), if only to help you in creating a good warning.

Sekhemah [ball] met khoy kat b'tayr shem b'mahrn erthkeshtahv rahm. would be, I think a better translation. But still, very good.

I've been meaning to ask this for a few weeks now: for those who attended and organized this year's Mysterium, how did it go? I've seen the pictures posted on this thread and, well, it seems a more "intimate" gathering than in years past. Perhaps that's a mistaken impression. I'm sure it was a resounding success.

Can I ask what you mean by that (out of curiosity)? We had a good sized crowd the whole weekend, so it wasn't super small or 'just the regulars' or anything.

Glad to hear the turnout was good. The only thing that prompted my question was that in the pictures posted I don't see more than nine or so people. In years past I was able to find more pics posted, and those generally showed a larger gathering. Are there other pics online? I like to experience Mysterium vicariously until the year that I can actually attend in person. I think last year (or the year before) they had a live feed you could watch. That was very nice.

Yep, we have a Livestream every year (look farther back in this thread for some of the recorded presentations). There are several more albums floating around on various forums/social networks:

DTC posted some here: http://www.mystcommunity.com/board/index.php?/topic/38184-my-mysterium-2012-photos/
Rium posted some here: https://plus.google.com/photos/110879136591482275531/albums/5773115330148108289

There are probably others, but I don't have links handy (outside of the ones that are already earlier in this thread)
